Chị Têrêsa Hài Đồng Giêsu bảo tôi:</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; "> </span></p>

Còn em, em </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">tĩnh tâm do lòng trung thành để tận hiến một ngày hoàn hảo hơn cho Chúa… </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Nếu hôm nào em cần phải viết lách nhiều: để tâm hồn được thanh thoát, thì em </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">luôn giữ tâm trạng là sẵn sàng để cho ai muốn tới quấy rầy gì cũng được. Em tự </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">nhủ: ‘Thời giờ tự do này tôi sẵn sàng để người khác nhờ vả. Tôi muốn thế! </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Nhưng tiên vàn nếu tôi được ở yên, tôi sẽ cảm tạ Chúa như một ơn tôi được lúc </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">không ngờ’. Và lúc nào em cũng tươi vui sung sướng”.</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; "> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:-.25in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Thực vậy, tôi nhận thấy hồi Chị còn giữ phòng thánh, trong các ngày nghỉ </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">khi công việc riêng đã xong xuôi, Chị vội vã qua phòng thánh để cho người ta có </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">thể sai bảo. Chị đi ngang qua ngay chỗ chị trưởng phòng thánh để chị này có thể nhờ vả việc này việc nọ. Sự việc đã xảy ra như vậy. Vì biết làm như vậy Chị phải </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">cố gắng lắm, nên tôi ra hiệu cho Chị đừng đi qua lối đó, hơn thế tôi còn giúp Chị </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">một cách thế nữa, nhưng tất cả đều vô ích.</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; "> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:7.8pt;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:-.25in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Vào những tháng cuối đời người em nhỏ của tôi, tôi thường trì hoãn giờ chơi để nán lại săn sóc em, và tôi không được nhiệt thành trong việc săn sóc các người </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">khác bị bệnh nhẹ hơn. Chị nói với tôi:</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; "> </span></p>

<span style="color:black; ">các việc để có thể đi chơi hay săn sóc các bệnh nhân khác. Em sẽ cố gắng làm </span><span style="color:black; ">hàng ngày hy sinh và tránh mọi cơ hội gặp gỡ, để mang lại cho chị nhiều ơn </span><span style="color:black; ">thánh hơn. Trong bất cứ công việc gì đừng nên tìm kiếm lợi lộc riêng tư, vì ‘ngay </span><span style="color:black; ">khi người ta tìm kiếm mình, lập tức người ta ngừng yêu mến’ </span><sup><span style="letter-spacing:-.35pt; color:#0056AC; ">82</span></sup><span style="color:black; ">. Trong những </span><span style="color:black; ">ngày cuối đời này, em sống hạnh phúc hơn người ta tưởng nhiều, vì không bao </span><span style="color:black; ">giờ em tìm kiếm gì cho mình cả. Khi hoàn toàn từ bỏ, là lúc người ta được lãnh </span><span style="color:black; ">nhận phần thưởng ngay ở trần gian. Chị thường bảo em chỉ cho chị phương thế tiến tới tình yêu thuần khiết, vậy phương thế đó là quên chính bản thân và đừng </span><span style="color:black; ">tìm kiếm lợi riêng”.</span></span></p>

Tuy vậy tôi không quyến luyến gì tới điều đang làm cho tôi hối tiếc cả. </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Cũng ngày hôm đó, tôi đã bảo vệ quyền lợi của tôi đối với một chị và đồng thời </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">cũng là để bảo vệ công bằng. Thêm vào đó, tôi muốn chứng minh cho chị ấy biết </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">rằng chị đã lầm lẫn.
