Khi đọc tiên tri Isaia</span></p>

Chị cảm thông cho tôi biết ánh sáng Chị đã được do đọc đoạn sách sau đây của tiên tri Isaia: “Chay tịnh mà Ta đòi hỏi có phải ở tại việc con người chịu cực lòng trong một ngày, ở việc mặc áo vải thô và bỏ tro trên mình hay không? Chúng ta có gọi đó là chay tịnh, là ngày làm đẹp lòng Chúa không? Chay tịnh mà Ta công nhận không hơn chạy tịnh vừa nói đó sao? Các ngươi hãy bẻ gãy xiềng xích tội ác đi, hãy bỏ gánh đang chất nặng trên vai kẻ khốn nạn xuống. Hãy giải phóng kẻ bị áp bức, và đập tan tất cả những gì bất công đối với kẻ khác. Các ngươi hãy phân chia bánh cho kẻ đói ăn, hãy dẫn kẻ nghèo khổ vào trú ngụ trong nhà các ngươi vì họ không biết đi đâu. Thấy ai trần truồng hãy cho họmặc, đừng khinh dể chính thân xác các ngươi”.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:27.0pt;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Chị lấy từng đoạn trên và cắt nghĩa cho tôi hiểu cặn kẽ: cần phải thực hành </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; "><span style="color:black; ">đức bác ái đối với các tâm hồn nhiều hơn là đối với các thân xác: </span><span style="color:black; ">“Khắp nơi đều có những người nghèo khổ, những tâm hồn yếu đuối bệnh hoạn, bị đè nén… Nhưng chao ôi! Xin chị hãy đỡ lấy gánh nặng đè trên vai họ. Hãy để họ đi tự do, nghĩa là: Khi có ai nói với chị về khuyết điểm của kẻ khác, xin chị đừng thêm bớt mắm muối gì vào. Đôi khi không tiện nói ngược lại, thì chị hãy khôn khéo đưa những nhân đức họ ra để có thế quân bình. Hãy để những ai bị đè nén được tự do ra đi. Hãy bẻ gẫy những xiềng xích trói buộc kẻ khác. Hãy chia cơm bánh cho kẻ đói ăn, nghĩa là ban phát chính mình cho họ. Dẫn dắt họ vào nhà, trang trải nợ nần thay họ, làm phúc của cải: là hy sinh sự yên thân, sự </span><span style="color:black; ">nghỉ ngơi cho những ai không biết trú ngụ nơi nào, cho những kẻ nghèo khổ </span><span style="color:black; ">cùng cực”. </span></span></p>

Sức mạnh ngươi sẽ </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; "><span style="color:black; ">bình phục. Sự công chính ngươi sẽ dẫn dắt ngươi. Vinh quang Chúa sẽ bảo vệ </span><span style="color:black; ">ngươi. Lúc đó ngươi kêu cầu Danh Chúa và Ngài sẽ đáp tiếng ngươi: Này Cha </span><span style="color:black; ">đây. Nếu ngươi không giương tay, không nói lời xúc phạm, nếu ngươi biết giúp </span><span style="color:black; ">đỡ người nghèo, biết cảm thông hoàn cảnh khốn nạn của họ, nếu ngươi biết an </span><span style="color:black; ">ủi những tâm hồn đau khổ, ánh sáng sẽ chiếu soi vào vùng tăm tối và làm cho sự </span><span style="color:black; ">tăm tối của ngươi trở nên sáng chói như chính ngọ, Thiên Chúa sẽ mãi mãi ban </span><span style="color:black; ">cho ngươi niềm an nghỉ, Ngài sẽ làm tâm hồn ngươi tràn đầy ánh quang rực rỡ, </span><span style="color:black; ">làm sống lại những xương tàn của ngươi đã khô héo, ngươi sẽ như khu vườn đẹp </span><span style="color:black; ">được vun tưới và như mạch suối mát không bao giờ khô cạn</span><sup><span style="letter-spacing:-.35pt; color:#0056AC; ">74</span></sup><span style="color:black; ">. Trên hoang địa </span><span style="color:black; ">của muôn thế kỷ, nhà cửa sẽ mọc lên như nấm. Ngươi sẽ dựng lại những nền </span><span style="color:black; ">móng đổ nát bao năm hoang phế. Người ta sẽ nói với ngươi rằng hãy sửa lại </span><span style="color:black; ">những tường thành và nắn ngay lại những đường nẻo cong queo”.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:1.2pt;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:27.0pt;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">“Chị vừa nghe về phần thưởng sẽ được: Nếu ngươi đừng nói những lời thiếu </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; "><span style="color:black; ">bác ái, nếu ngươi bẻ gẫy xiềng xích trói buộc các linh hồn bị tù đày bằng cách </span><span style="color:black; ">đối xử dịu dàng thân thiện với họ; nếu chị giúp đỡ những linh hồn đáng thương, </span><span style="color:black; ">bị bỏ rơi với niềm thông cảm chân thành, nghĩa là với tất cả tâm hồn lòng mến </span><span style="color:black; ">vô vị lợi, nếu chị biết an ủi những kẻ đau khổ, thì sức khoẻ tinh thần ngươi sẽ </span><br>
<span style="color:black; ">bình phục, tâm hồn chị sẽ không còn khô héo. Sự công chính của chị sẽ dẫn dắt </span><span style="color:black; ">chị. Nhưng để hữu ích, những công việc này phải được thực hiện cách kín đáo, không khoe khoang, vì đó là đặc tính của công phúc đức, giống như cây hoa tím khiêm nhượng toả hương thoang thoảng mà các tạo vật khác không hay biết mùi </span><span style="color:black; ">thơm đó từ đâu bay tới: vinh quang Chúa sẽ che chở ngươi, không phải vinh </span><span style="color:black; ">quang riêng của chị, nhưng là sự vinh quang của Chúa.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:27.0pt;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">“Thiên Chúa sẽ nhận lời ngươi, sẽ cho ngươi được an nghỉ. Ánh sáng sẽ chiếu </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">soi ngươi trong u tối cuộc đời. Sự tối tăm nơi ngươi sẽ trở nên chiếu sáng như </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; "><span style="color:black; ">chính ngọ. Nhưng không phải là tăm tối đó sẽ tan biến, vì thử thách còn đang </span><span style="color:black; ">sẵn sàng chờ đợi các linh hồn. Nhưng tăm tối của chị sẽ trở nên sáng láng… Và </span><span style="color:black; ">chị sẽ được an bình trong vui sướng. Ánh quang huy luôn chiếu sáng chị giữa </span><br>
<span style="color:black; ">đêm tâm thần tăm tối. Người sẽ trở nên một khu vườn xanh tươi, luôn được vun </span><span style="color:black; ">tưới như dòng suối chảy không bao giờ cạn; ở nơi mạch suối đó tất cả mọi tâm </span><span style="color:black; ">hồn, mọi tạo vật đều đến kín múc và sẽ không làm hư hỏng đục dòng.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:27.0pt;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">“Nhưng chưa hết đâu! Xin chị chú ý đến phần thưởng cuối cùng này: Những </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">toà nhà tráng lệ nguy nga sẽ mọc lên như nấm trên những nơi hoang vu muôn </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">thế kỷ. Các ngươi sẽ dựng lại những nền móng vững chắc. Lời đó nghĩa là gì? Thực thi bác ái và yêu tha nhân thì làm sao tôi có thể dựng nổi cơ đồ? Điều đó không được vì chẳng có liên hệ nào giữa hai thái cực cả?… Dù sao đi nữa, các </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">thiên thần trên trời nói về chị rằng: Ngươi sửa lại những tường thành và uốn nắn </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">ngay lại những đường nẻo cong queo…”.</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; "> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:27.0pt;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Trong khi nói những lời trên đây, Chị long lanh nhìn tôi đầy vẻ hứng khởi… </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; "><span style="color:black; ">“Ôi mầu nhiệm! Chính nhờ những việc lành nho nhỏ thực hiện trong âm thầm </span><span style="color:black; ">mà chúng ta làm cho các linh hồn ở xa ngàn dặm được ăn năn trở lại… Chúng ta </span><span style="color:black; ">giúp đỡ các nhà truyền giáo cũng bằng cách đó… và khi ngày phán xét tới, có lẽ </span><span style="color:black; ">người ta nói rằng chúng ta đã xây cất những nơi tạm trú cho Chúa Giêsu và sửa </span><span style="color:black; ">soạn đường lối Người…”.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:.1in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:27.0pt;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Những việc bái ái Chị Têrêsa làm mà tôi được chứng kiến thì nhiều vô kể và </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; "><span style="color:black; ">thuộc nhiều loại khác nhau. Thánh Nữ không bỏ lỡ cơ hội nào. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:.1in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:27.0pt;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Tỉ dụ như những ngày Chúa nhật hay lễ trọng được thong thả, Chị dùng thời </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">giờ đó để làm vui lòng các chị em. Theo chịem yêu cầu. Têrêsa cảm hứng làm </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">nhiều bài thơ. Không bao giờ Chị từ chối một ai… đến nỗi hầu như Chị chẳng </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">còn thời giờ nào rảnh rỗi dành riêng cho mình. Vì thế Têrêsa không bao giờ để </span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">chép lấy một Thánh Vịnh Chị mộ mến, mặc dù Chị rất ước mong được như vậy. </span></p>
