<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt;line-height:150%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Khi giờ chết đến, thật khó lòng giữ được tâm hồn bình thản trong giờ lo âu này. Cứ trì-hoãn đến phút chót, tức giờ chết mới chuẩn-bị cho cuộc sống đời đời, là một cuộc mạo-hiểm thiếu khôn ngoan. Thiên Chúa phán: <strong>“Ta sẽ xét xử công-minh.” (Rô-ma 12:19)</strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt;line-height:150%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Bạn đọc mến! Không ai biết được có thể những hàng chữ này, bạn đang đọc là những tiếng cảnh-cáo sau cùng? Chúng ta hãy mau mau chuẩn-bị, kẻo bất ngờ thần chết đến, lôi chúng ta đi, mà không kịp chuẩn-bị. Thánh Augustinô nói: <strong>“Không biết chết giờ nào, nên chúng ta hãy chuẩn bị sẵn sàng.”</strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt;line-height:150%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Thánh Phao-lồ nói mạnh hơn: <strong>“Anh chị em hãy lo phần rỗi linh hồn một cách run sợ, kinh hãi. (Phi-lip-phê 2:12).</strong></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt;line-height:150%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Thánh An-tô-ni-ô kể rằng: Một ông vua nước Sicily, muốn cho một quan cận thần hiểu được phần nào ông đang giữ ngai báu với bao sợ hãi, vua cho quan cận thần ngồi vào bàn ăn, lưỡi gươm đeo lủng-lẳng trên đầu với một sợi chỉ mành. Quá sợ hãi, quan không thể ăn uống được gì. Chúng ta cũng đang sống trong cảnh nguy-hiểm tương tự, lưỡi gươm tử thần sẵn sàng giáng xuống chúng ta bất cứ lúc nào, và tiếp liền số phận đời đời được định đoạt.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt;line-height:150%;"><strong><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">“Cho dù cây đổ hướng Nam hay hướng Bắc. Cây đổ chỗ nào thì nằm chỗ đó.”(Giảng-viên 11 : 3 )</span></strong><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; "> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt;line-height:150%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Khi thần chết đến, nếu chúng ta sống trong ơn nghĩa Chúa, chúng ta kêu lên với bao hân-hoan:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt;line-height:150%;"><strong><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">“Tôi đang được bảo đảm phần rỗi. Không bao giờ tôi sợ mất Chúa. Đời đời tôi được hạnh-phúc.”</span></strong><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; "> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt;line-height:150%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Trái lại, một người chết khi đang đắm mình trong tội-lỗi sẽ kêu lên thắm thiết:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt;line-height:150%;"><strong><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">“Tôi đã lầm lỗi cho đến đời đời, không bao giờ tôi sửa lại được các lỗi lầm này.”</span></strong><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; "> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt;line-height:150%;"><em><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Ôi lạy Chúa, chưa có ai yêu con hơn Chúa. Nhưng ai-oán thay, cũng không có ai mà con lại phản nghịch, nhục-mã hơn Chúa! Ôi, các thương-tích, máu cực châu báu Chúa đổ ra là nguồn hy-vọng của con.</span></em><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; "> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt;line-height:150%;"><em><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Lạy Chúa hằng có đời đời, xin Chúa đừng nhìn đến các tội-lỗi con, nhưng xin Chúa nhìn đến các thương tích Con Chúa, nhìn đến con yêu dấu Chúa đã chết đau khổ để cứu-chuộc con, mà tha thứ cho con.</span></em><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; "> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt;line-height:150%;"><em><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Lạy Chúa, con thống-hối tội-lỗi con, Chúa đã tạo dựng nên con, nên con phải yêu mến Chúa, đâu phải Chúa dưng nên con để con nhục-mã Chúa. Vì yêu mến Chúa Giêsu, xin Chúa tha thứ cho con và cho con được yêu mến Chúa.</span></em><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; "> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt;line-height:150%;"><em><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Trước đây con đã chống lại ý Chúa, nay con không còn dám chống trả nữa. Con sẽ thi hành những gì Chúa truyền dạy cho con. Chúa muốn con đừng phạm tội nữa, trái lại yêu Chúa hết lòng, con xin làm theo ý Chúa, như lời Thánh Bô-na-ven-tu-ra đã nói xưa:</span></em><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; "> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt;line-height:150%;"><em><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">“Con chỉ yêu một Chúa, và chỉ một mình Chúa mà thôi”.</span></em><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; "> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt;line-height:150%;"><em><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; ">Con quyết-chí từ nay về sau không bao giờ dám phạm tội nữa, và dùng quãng đời còn lại để khóc than lỗi lầm và yêu mến Chúa.</span></em><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:black; "> </span></p>
