Này thượng tế Giê-su-a, con ông Giơ-hô-xa-đắc, mạnh bạo lên nào! Toàn dân trong xứ hãy mạnh bạo lên! Sấm ngôn của ĐỨC CHÚA. Hãy bắt tay vào việc, vì chính Ta ở với các ngươi. Các ông thưa rằng: "Người thì bảo là Gioan Tẩy giả, kẻ khác lại cho là Êlia, còn người khác thì cho là một trong các tiên tri thời xưa, đã sống lại". Người lại hỏi các ông rằng: "Phần các con, các con bảo Thầy là ai?" Simon Phêrô thưa rằng: "Thầy là Ðấng Kitô của Thiên Chúa". Và Người ngăn cấm các ông không được nói điều đó với ai mà rằng: "Con Người phải chịu nhiều đau khổ, bị các kỳ lão, các thượng tế, và các luật sĩ từ bỏ và giết chết, nhưng ngày thứ ba sẽ sống lại".</span></p>

Chắc chắn hôm nay Ngài cũng đang đặt câu hỏi đó với mỗi người chúng ta. Chúng ta thử nghĩ xem, chúng ta sẽ trả lời Ngài như thế nào? Chúng ta có tin rằng Ðức Giêsu là Thiên Chúa, là Ðấng làm chủ cuộc đời chúng ta không? Chúng ta có sẵn sàng sống cho Ngài và theo Ngài không? Ðức Giêsu có chiếm vị trí quan trọng trong cuộc sống của ta không? Hay chỉ có vật chất, lợi lộc, hưởng thụ mới là điều quan trọng?</span></p>

<p style="margin-top:12.0pt;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;background:white;" bgcolor="white"><span style="font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Lạy Chúa Giêsu, thế giới ngày nay đang đưa con người vào cuộc sống tiến bộ vượt bậc: giàu sang, văn minh, hưởng thụ, tiện nghi... thế nên, con người mải mê chạy theo nó và quên mất Chúa, loại Chúa ra khỏi cuộc đời của mình. Xin Chúa thức tỉnh và canh tân nhân loại chúng con. Chỉ có Chúa mới là hạnh phúc đích thực mà trần gian này không thể cho chúng con được. Xin cho cuộc sống của chúng con luôn hướng về Chúa trong tâm tình yêu mến, phụng sự và tín thác. Amen.</span></p>
