Được củng cố bằng một sức mạnh dồi dào, chiếu theo quyền năng cả sáng của Người, anh em nhẫn nại và vui mừng khoan dung trong mọi sự. Anh em cảm tạ Chúa Cha, Đấng đã làm cho anh em xứng đáng lãnh phần gia nghiệp các thánh trong ánh sáng. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Khi ấy, dân chúng chen nhau lại gần Chúa Giêsu để nghe lời Thiên Chúa, lúc đó Người đứng ở bờ hồ Ghênêsarét. Người trông thấy hai chiếc thuyền đậu gần bờ; những người đánh cá đã ra khỏi thuyền và họ đang giặt lưới. Người xuống một chiếc thuyền, thuyền đó của ông Simon, và Người xin ông đưa ra khỏi bờ một chút. Rồi Người ngồi trên thuyền, giảng dạy dân chúng.</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Vừa giảng xong, Người bảo ông Simon rằng: "Hãy đẩy thuyền ra chỗ nước sâu và thả lưới bắt cá". Ông Simon thưa Người rằng: "Thưa Thầy, chúng con đã cực nhọc suốt đêm mà không được gì hết; nhưng vì lời Thầy, con sẽ thả lưới". Các ông đã thả lưới và bắt được rất nhiều cá; lưới các ông hầu như bị rách. Bấy giờ các ông làm hiệu cho các bạn đồng nghiệp ở thuyền bên cạnh đến giúp đỡ các ông. Những người này tới, họ đổ cá đầy hai chiếc thuyền, đến nỗi những thuyền chở nặng gần chìm.</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Thấy thế, ông Simon sụp lạy dưới chân Chúa Giêsu và thưa Người rằng: "Lạy Chúa, xin Chúa hãy tránh xa con, vì con là người tội lỗi". Ông kinh ngạc và tất cả mọi người ở đó với ông cũng kinh ngạc trước mẻ cá mà các ông vừa mới bắt được; cả ông Giacôbê và Gioan, con ông Giêbêđê, bạn đồng nghiệp với ông Simon cũng thế. Nhưng Chúa Giêsu phán bảo ông Simon rằng: "Đừng sợ hãi: từ đây con sẽ là kẻ chinh phục người ta". Bấy giờ các ông đưa thuyền vào bờ, và đã từ bỏ mọi sự mà đi theo Người.</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Người phụ nữ trông thật tội nghiệp! Chị đứng giữa mọi người. Hàng trăm con mắt kinh bỉ đổ dồn vào chị. Chị bị bêu xấu, bị kết tội và chị sắp sửa bị chôn vùi dưới trận mưa đá. Chị vừa khiếp sợ vừa nhục nhã.</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Khác hẳn với thái độ của những ông kinh sư và biệt phái, vị tiên tri Giêsu trông thật hiền hậu. Ngài bình thản trước những lời tố cáo về chị. Ngài không khinh bỉ chị. Ngài nhẹ nhàng tìm cách giải cứu chị khỏi bị ném đá. Và nhất là, Ngài giúp chị thoát khỏi tình trạng tội lỗi - "đừng phạm tội nữa".</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Lạy Chúa Giêsu, nhập cảnh câu chuyện trong Tin Mừng, chúng con thấy phẫn nộ với mấy ông kinh sư và biệt phái. Thế nhưng khi nhìn lại chính mình, chúng con nhận ra họ là phản ảnh con người chúng con. Chúng con rất dễ kết tội anh chị em chúng con. Trong khi đó, chính chúng con lại đầy tội lỗi. Chúng con ích kỷ, kiêu ngạo, giả dối, gian tham...</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Đức Giêsu càng tốt lành bao nhiêu, thì Ngài càng bao dung bấy nhiêu. Con người chúng con càng tội lỗi bao nhiêu, chúng con lại hay dễ kết án tha nhân bấy nhiêu. Xin Chúa giúp chúng con biết nhận ra thân phận yếu đuối của mình để chúng con biết hối cải, biết cảm thông với anh chị em chúng con. Nhờ đó chúng con được xứng đáng đón nhận ơn cứu độ của Chúa.
