Tức thì anh ta liền lành khỏi bệnh phong cùi. Chúa Giêsu phán bảo anh ta: "Hãy ý tứ, đừng nói với ai. Ngài đã đụng chạm đến anh và chữa lành mà không sợ mình bị lây nhơ theo quan niệm của người Do Thái thời bây giờ. Điều đó chứng tỏ Đức Giêsu có quyền giải thoát con người khỏi tội lỗi. "Sạch" ở đây không chỉ có nghĩa là được khỏe về phần xác, mà còn được hiểu là sự đổi mới trong tâm hồn nữa.</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>
