Khi nói điều đó, Người cho các ông xem tay và cạnh sườn Người. Bấy giờ các môn đệ vui mừng vì xem thấy Chúa. Chúa Giêsu lại phán bảo các ông rằng: "Bình an cho các con! Như Cha đã sai Thầy, Thầy cũng sai các con". Nói thế rồi, Người thổi hơi và phán bảo các ông: "Các con hãy nhận lấy Thánh Thần, các con tha tội cho ai, thì tội người ấy được tha. Hôm nay, Đức Giêsu Phục Sinh cũng thổi Thần Khí vào các môn đệ. Các ông được lãnh nhận Thánh Thần. Lãnh nhận sự sống của Đức Giêsu. Trong Chúa Thánh Thần, các môn đệ sẽ tiếp tục sứ mạng của Đức Giêsu: Thông ban sự sống và ơn tha tội. Trong Chúa Thánh Thần, Hội Thánh của Đức Giêsu được hình thành từ hạt nhân là các môn đệ.</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>

Chúa Thánh Thần mời gọi chúng ta phá vỡ mọi ngăn cách, kỳ thị để mọi người thực sự liên đới, cảm thông và hiệp nhất với nhau. Mỗi người chúng con đã được lãnh nhận Thánh Thần qua bí tích Rửa Tội và Thêm Sức. Chúng con cũng có sứ mạng đem Chúa đến cho người khác. Nhưng trong cuộc sống, có nhiều lúc chúng con vẫn còn nhát đảm, sợ hãi không dám tuyên xưng Chúa, không dám sống theo sự thật. Xin Chúa ban Chúa Thánh Thần để Ngài củng cố niềm tin và đổi mới chúng con, để chúng con can đảm sống đời chứng nhân.
