Vậy nếu sách luật gọi những kẻ được nghe lời Chúa là thần, mà Kinh Thánh không thể huỷ diệt được, thì tại sao các ngươi nói với Ðấng đã được Chúa Cha thánh hoá và sai đến trong trần gian rằng "Ông nói lộng ngôn", vì Ta đã nói Ta là Con Thiên Chúa? Nếu Ta không làm những việc của Cha Ta, thì các ngươi đừng tin Ta. Nhưng nếu Ta làm những việc đó, thì dầu các ngươi không muốn tin Ta, cũng hãy tin vào các việc đó, để các ngươi biết và tin rằng: Cha ở trong Ta, và Ta ở trong Cha".</span><span style="font-family:'Calibri Light',sans-serif; font-size:12.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>

Người lại qua bên kia sông Giođan, nơi trước kia Gioan đã làm phép rửa. Và Người ở lại đó. Có nhiều kẻ đến cùng Người. Họ nói: "Gioan đã không làm một phép lạ nào. Nhưng mọi điều Gioan nói về người này đều đúng cả". Và có nhiều kẻ tin Người.</span><span style="font-family:'Calibri Light',sans-serif; font-size:12.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>

Ngài là Thiên Chúa thật. Ngài đến để làm chứng cho sự thật. Nhưng chính bởi sự thật đó, có nhiều người đã chống đối và cũng có nhiều người tin vào Ngài.</span><span style="font-family:'Calibri Light',sans-serif; font-size:12.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>

Bởi chính Ðức Giêsu cũng đã bị kết tội khi dám nói sự thật. Chúng ta cũng noi gương Ðức Giêsu, luôn trung thành trong mọi việc dù lớn hay nhỏ, không bao giờ chấp nhận gian dối. Như thế, chúng ta mới xứng danh người Kitô hữu. </span><span style="font-family:'Calibri Light',sans-serif; font-size:12.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Calibri Light',sans-serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Đoạn Tin Mừng Thánh Gioan cho ta biết: người Do thái lại định ném đá Chúa vì cho Người nói phạm thượng, tự xưng là Con Thiên Chúa. Họ hiểu luật, nhưng họ cố tình bỏ qua những điều luật bất lợi cho họ; những lời Chúa giảng, những việc Chúa làm, nhất là những lời chỉ trích gay gắt về tập đoàn lãnh đạo Do thái mà họ là chủ chốt, họ định ném đá Người. Tuy nhiên, cũng có một số dân chúng Do thái tin vào Lời Người.</span><span style="font-family:'Calibri Light',sans-serif; font-size:12.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Calibri Light',sans-serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Thật khổ mà hiểu được Chúa, khó mà tin được vào Chúa khi đã có một định kiến, một phán đoán sai lầm, nhất là quyền lợi người ấy bị mất mát, khi chấp nhận những điều thật, những việc đúng Chúa làm. Định kiến, và quyền lợi làm người ta khó chấp nhận điều ngay, lý thẳng của Chúa lên án những người làm sai trái, chỉ vì sợ quyền lợi bị mất, mà bịt mắt làm ngơ, bung tai giả điếc, trước những lời chỉ trích chân thật của Chúa.</span><span style="font-family:'Calibri Light',sans-serif; font-size:12.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>
<span style="line-height:107%; font-family:'Calibri Light',sans-serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Lạy Chúa, xin cho chúng con tâm sáng, lòng ngay để dễ dàng chấp nhận và tin theo lời chân tình Chúa dạy vì phần rỗi chúng con. Lợi ích nhất thời chúng con đang hưởng che mất tầm nhìn đúng đắn, cứ để mình trầm sa mãi trong sai lạc, bỏ đi mất bao cơ hội sống thánh, sống thiện theo gương Chúa. Xin Chúa giúp chúng con.</span>
