<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Toàn thể quân đội được triệu tập, rồi cùng lên núi Sion.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Ngày hai mươi lăm tháng chín (tức là tháng Kislêu) năm một trăm bốn mươi tám, họ dậy sớm, dâng lễ tế như Luật dạy trên bàn thờ dùng để dâng lễ toàn thiêu mà họ vừa mới thiết lập. Bàn thờ đã được cung hiến lại giữa những tiếng ca, tiếng đàn lục huyền cầm, phong cầm cùng tiếng não bạt, đúng mùa, đúng ngày trước kia dân ngoại đã xúc phạm đến bàn thờ. Toàn dân sấp mình thờ lạy và ca tụng Ðấng ngự trên trời đã ban chiến thắng cho họ.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Họ làm lễ cung hiến bàn thờ suốt tám ngày, hân hoan dâng lễ toàn thiêu, lễ đền tội và lễ tạ ơn. Họ trang hoàng mặt tiền Ðền thờ với những triều thiên vàng và bảng chương, sửa lại các cửa ra vào và các phòng, đặt cánh cửa lại. Dân chúng nô nức vui mừng vì đã rửa sạch được nỗi tủi nhục do dân ngoại gây nên. Giuđa cùng với anh em ông và cộng đoàn Israel quyết định rằng: Hằng năm, từ ngày hai mươi lăm tháng Kislêu, lễ cung hiến bàn thờ sẽ được cử hành trong vui mừng hân hoan suốt tám ngày.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Khi ấy, Chúa Giêsu vào đền thờ, Người liền xua đuổi các người buôn bán tại đó và phán bảo họ rằng: "Có lời chép rằng: Nhà Ta là nhà cầu nguyện, các ngươi đã biến thành sào huyệt trộm cướp". Và hằng ngày Người giảng dạy trong Ðền thờ. Các thượng tế, luật sĩ và kỳ lão trong dân tìm cách hại Người, nhưng họ không biết phải làm cách nào, vì dân chúng hết thảy đều chăm chú nghe Người.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Ðức Giêsu được sai đến để chu toàn sứ mạng: phụng sự Thiên Chúa Cha và dạy cho người ta cũng biết tôn thờ Thiên Chúa cách xứng đáng. Việc đánh đuổi những người buôn bán ra khỏi Ðền Thờ cho thấy Chúa muốn người ta phải thay đổi thái độ thờ phượng, phải bỏ những lạm dụng bất chính vì việc buôn bán làm mất đi sự nghiệm trang ý nghĩa của nơi thờ phượng. Ðền Thờ là nhà của Thiên Chúa, là nơi cầu nguyện và tôn vinh Thiên Chúa, là nơi con người đến cầu xin ơn cứu độ.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Chúng ta có ý thức được mỗi tâm hồn chúng ta cũng là Ðền Thờ của Thiên Chúa không? Chúng ta có giữ gìn bảo vệ và trang hoàng Ðền Thờ đó để xứng đáng cho Chúa ngự không?</span></p>

Thế nhưng chúng con đã để cho tâm hồn bị hỗn loạn bởi những lo lắng đời thường, chất chứa những hận thù ghen ghét... Thật là bất xứng và xúc phạm đến Chúa. Xin Chúa thanh luyện và uốn nắn chúng con để tâm hồn chúng con luôn là nơi Chúa ưng ý, muốn ngự vào. Amen.</span></p>
