<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Khờ dại thay tất cả những người không chịu nhận biết Chúa, và cả những người không biết căn cứ vào các sự vật hữu hình để tìm hiểu Ðấng Tự Hữu, và không chú ý đến các công trình để biết ai là Ðấng Hoá công. Nhưng họ kể lửa, gió, khí thiêng, bầu trời đầy tinh tú, nước lũ, mặt trời, mặt trăng là những thần minh bá chủ hoàn cầu. Nếu họ say mê vẻ đẹp của các vật đó mà kể chúng là chúa tể, thì phải biết rằng: Ðấng quản trị các vật đó còn tốt đẹp hơn bội phần, vì chính Ðấng tác sinh thiện mỹ, đã tạo thành mọi vật đó. Hoặc nếu họ ngạc nhiên về năng lực và kỳ công của những tạo vật đó, thì do đó họ phải hiểu rằng Ðấng đã tạo thành các vật đó, còn có quyền lực hơn nhiều, vì do sự cao sang tốt đẹp của tạo vật mà người ta có thể nhìn biết Ðấng tạo dựng mọi loài.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Dầu sao họ cũng không đáng trách mấy, vì chưng, có lẽ họ lầm trong khi tìm kiếm Chúa, và muốn gặp Người. Họ tìm kiếm, khi sống giữa các kỳ công của Chúa, nhưng họ ngộ nhận khi thấy các vật kia tốt đẹp.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Tuy vậy, chính họ cũng không đáng được tha thứ, vì nếu họ có khả năng nhận thức để truy tầm càn khôn, sao họ lại không nhận thấy cách dễ dàng hơn chính Chúa tể càn khôn?</span></p>

Thiên hạ cứ ăn uống, cưới vợ gả chồng, mãi cho tới ngày Noe vào tầu, rồi nước lụt đến tiêu diệt mọi người.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">"Lại cũng như đã xảy ra thời ông Lót: người ta ăn uống, mua bán, trồng tỉa, xây cất, nhưng ngày ông Lót ra khỏi thành Sôđôma, thì trời liền mưa lửa và sinh diêm, tiêu diệt mọi người. Cũng sẽ xảy như thế trong ngày Con Người xuất hiện.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Ðức Giêsu cho thấy trước viễn cảnh của ngày phán xét, ngày Thiên Chúa thanh lọc để phân chia kẻ dữ ra khỏi ngươì lành. Lời cảnh cáo của Ðức Giêsu cho thấy đó là ngày đáng sợ, không ai có thể thoát được. Nhưng đó cũng là ngày hân hoan và hạnh phúc cho những ai ở đời này đã sống hết mình với Chúa, với tha nhân: dám hy sinh tất cả dù phải mất cả mạng sống mình. Như chính Ðức Giêsu đã nói: "Ai liều mất mạng sống mình, thì sẽ bảo tồn được mạng sống ấy".</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Mỗi Kitô hữu chúng ta hãy nhìn lại cuộc sống của chúng ta để xem chúng ta sẽ lo sợ hay hân hoan đón chờ ngày Ðức Giêsu quang lâm? Ðó là thái độ mà chúng ta cần phải chuẩn bị ngay từ bây giờ, trong từng giây phút hiện tại.</span></p>

Như thế, chắc chắn một là chúng con được hạnh phúc vĩnh cửu, hai là phải bị phạt đời đời. Ðó là hậu quả mỗi người chúng con tự chọn lựa, tự chuẩn bị cho mình qua cuộc sống hiện tại của chúng con. Xin giúp chúng con biết tỉnh thức và sáng suốt sống theo giới răn của Chúa: mến Chúa yêu người, để chúng con không sợ hãi khi Chúa đến, nhưng được hân hoan đón rước Chúa. Amen.</span></p>
