Dòng nước Giođan đã đục ngầu vì tội lỗi muôn người. Đức Giêsu, Đấng Thiên Sai của Thiên Chúa đã không nề dìm mình xuống dòng nước ấy. Ngài cùng chung tội lụy để cùng chung tẩy luyện. Vì tình yêu thương khiến đôi vai Ngài trĩu nặng gánh nợ đời. Nhưng trong dòng sông thanh tẩy, mọi tội nhơ được biến đổi nên tinh luyện.</span><span style="font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>

Xin Chúa giúp chúng con trong tình tương thân huynh đệ, cùng giúp nhau sống tốt về mọi mặt, để xây dựng một Giáo Hội hiệp nhất, yêu thương. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:12.0pt;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;background:white;"><span style="line-height:200%; font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Tin rằng Chúa Giêsu là Đức Kitô, Con Thiên Chúa, giúp chúng ta được "tái sinh từ trời", nghĩa là từ Thiên Chúa, vốn là Tình Yêu (x. Ga 3,3). Chúng ta hãy giữ trong tâm trí rằng không ai tự làm cho mình thành người: Chúng ta tất cả đều được sinh ra mà không một hành động nào từ phía chúng ta. Cái thụ động của việc sinh ra có trước cái hoạt động của chúng ta. về mức độ sự sống Kitô hữu cũng vậy: Không ai có thể tự làm cho mình là Kitô hữu chỉ bằng ý chí của mình, là Kitô hữu cũng là một quà tặng có trước hành động của chúng ta: Chúng ta phải tái sinh qua việc sinh ra lần thứ hai. Thánh Gioan nói: "Những ai đón nhận, tức là tin vào danh Người, thì Người cho họ quyền trở nên con Thiên Chúa" (Ga 1,12). Đây là ý nghĩa của Bí tích Rửa Tội, rửa tội là việc sinh ra một lần nữa, nó có trước hành động của chúng ta. Nhờ đức tin, chúng ta có thể đi đến gặp gỡ với Đức Kitô, nhưng chỉ một mình Người có thể làm cho chúng ta trở nên những Kitô hữu và làm cho ý muốn và lòng mong ước của chúng ta có lời đáp trả, có phẩm giá, có quyền lực - mà chúng ta đã không tự mình mà có - để trở nên con Thiên Chúa.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:12.0pt;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;background:white;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:20.0pt; color:#002060; ">Chúa nhật Chúa Giêsu chịu phép Rửa, chấm dứt mùa Giáng Sinh. Chúng ta hãy tạ ơn Thiên Chúa về mầu nhiệm vĩ đại này, vốn là nguồn gốc của sự tái sinh cho Giáo hội và cho toàn thế giới. Thiên Chúa tự làm cho mình nên con của loài người, để loài người trở nên con của Thiên Chúa.</span></p>
