Vô phúc cho tôi, nếu tôi không rao giảng Tin Mừng. Giả như nếu tôi tự ý đảm nhận việc ấy, thì tôi có công; nhưng nếu tôi bị ép buộc, thì tôi phải làm trọn nghĩa vụ đã giao phó cho tôi. Vậy thì phần thưởng của tôi ở đâu? Khi rao giảng Tin Mừng, tôi đem Tin Mừng biếu không, tôi không dùng quyền mà Tin Mừng dành cho tôi.</span><span style="color:#0033CC; "> </span></p>
<p style="margin:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-size:16.0pt; color:#0033CC; ">Mặc dầu tôi được tự do đối với tất cả mọi người, tôi đã đành làm nô lệ cho mọi người, hầu thu hút được nhiều người hơn. Tôi đã nên mọi sự đối với tất cả mọi người, để làm cho mọi người được cứu rỗi. Tất cả những việc đó, tôi làm vì Tin Mừng để được thông phần vào lợi ích của Tin Mừng. Anh em không biết rằng những kẻ chạy trong vận động trường, thì mọi người đều chạy nhưng chỉ có một người đoạt giải đó sao? Cũng vậy, anh em hãy chạy sao để đoạt được giải. Mọi tay đua đều phải kiêng cữ đủ điều, và những kẻ ấy kiêng cữ để đoạt lấy triều thiên hay hư nát, còn chúng ta, chúng ta nhắm đoạt triều thiên không hay hư nát.</span><span style="color:#0033CC; "> </span></p>

<p style="margin:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-size:16.0pt; color:#0033CC; ">Ðức Giêsu kêu gọi mọi người, nhất là những người có trách nhiệm, những bậc làm cha mẹ... phải sáng suốt và khôn ngoan khi sửa lỗi cho anh chị em, con cái mình. Chúng ta chỉ có khuynh hướng nhìn thấy lầm lỗi của tha nhân mà không biết nhận ra những khuyết điểm của mình. Nhiều khi chính những khuyết điểm ấy lại đang gây ảnh hưởng, gây gương mù, gương xấu cho anh chị em, con cái mình. Chúng ta hãy năng tự kiểm điểm theo mẫu gương duy nhất là Ðức Giêsu và lời dạy của Ngài để ta biết mình và biết cách hướng dẫn người khác.</span><span style="color:#0033CC; "> </span></p>

<p style="margin:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-size:16.0pt; color:#0033CC; ">Lạy Chúa, theo Lời Chúa dạy hôm nay, chắc có lẽ chúng con sẽ bị xét đoán thật nhiều vì lối sống thiếu bác ái và hay xét đoán anh chị em của chúng con. Xin cho chúng con luôn biết thưa với Chúa: xin cho con biết con. Chỉ khi nào chúng con biết Chúa thực, thì chúng con mới biết đích thực về anh chị em chúng con. Chúng con biết Chúa để yêu mến, biết mình để khiêm hạ, biết anh chị em con để yêu thương. Nếu khi nào chúng con biết sống như thế, thì lúc đó chúng con mới có bình an và hạnh phúc.
