Vì Ta bảo thật các con: Cho dù trời đất có qua đi, thì một chấm, một phẩy trong bộ luật cũng không bỏ sót, cho đến khi mọi sự hoàn thành. Bởi vậy, ai huỷ bỏ một trong những điều luật nhỏ mọn nhất, và dạy người khác làm như vậy, sẽ kể là người nhỏ nhất trong Nước Trời; trái lại, ai giữ và dạy người ta giữ những điều đó, sẽ được kể là người cao cả trong Nước Trời".</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#002060; ">Đức Giêsu chính là Đấng Kitô phải đến mà Israel đang mong chờ. Ngài đến để hoàn tất mọi lời Thiên Chúa hứa và để kiện toàn lề luật. Ngài đến đưa lề luật tới ý nghĩa trọn hảo. Kiểu nói: "một chấm, một phết trong luật cũng không thể qua đi" diễn tả tầm quan trọng của luật: đó là ý muốn của Thiên Chúa. Thiên Chúa đã muốn dùng lề luật để giáo dục con người thì không có luật gì là nhỏ bé tầm thường. Vì vậy chúng ta chỉ đạt được sự sống đời đời khi trung thành tuân giữ luật Chúa, lời Chúa. Chúng ta giữ luật không vì sợ tội, nhưng vì tình yêu. Trong tình yêu, càng cần tế nhị từ những điều nhỏ mọn.</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>

Rất nhiều khi chúng con tuân giữ một cách máy móc, giữ theo hình thức vì sợ tội chứ chưa vì yêu mến.</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>
