<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#002060; ">Khi ấy, sau khi nghe Chúa Giêsu giảng, có nhiều người trong đám dân chúng nói rằng: "Ông này thật là tiên tri". Kẻ khác nói: "Ông này thật là Đấng Kitô". Người khác nữa lại nói: "Đấng Kitô xuất thân từ Galilêa sao? Nào Kinh Thánh chẳng nói: Đấng Kitô xuất thân bởi dòng dõi Đavit, và từ làng Bêlem, quê hương của Đavit?" Vì thế, dân chúng bất đồng ý kiến với nhau về Người. Trong số đó, có một ít kẻ định bắt Người, nhưng không ai dám ra tay bắt Người. Vậy khi những người thừa hành đến với thượng tế và biệt phái, các ông này hỏi họ rằng: "Tại sao các ngươi không điệu nó tới?" Các người thừa hành thưa rằng: "Chẳng hề có ai nói như người ấy". Các người biệt phái trả lời rằng: "Chớ thì các ngươi cũng bị mê hoặc rồi sao? Trong các vị thủ lãnh và các người biệt phái, có ai tin nó đâu? Chỉ có lũ khốn nạn đó nó không biết gì lề luật". Nicôđêmô là người đã tới gặp Chúa Giêsu ban đêm, cũng là người trong nhóm họ, nói với họ rằng: "Chớ thì luật của chúng ta có lên án cho ai mà không nghe họ, hoặc không biết rõ họ làm gì không?" Nhưng họ trả lời rằng: "Hay ông cũng là người Galilêa? Hãy đọc kỹ Kinh Thánh, ông sẽ thấy rằng không có tiên tri nào phát xuất từ Galilêa". Sau đó ai về nhà nấy.</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#002060; ">Đức Giêsu là nguyên nhân chia rẽ trong dân Do thái: Có người nhận Ngài là Đấng Tiên Tri, người khác nhận là Đức Kitô. Nhưng các thượng tế và biệt phái thì muốn bắt Người. Họ dựa vào Thánh Kinh, nhưng cắt nghĩa Thánh Kinh lệch lạc. Vì thế cố chấp và không muốn nhìn nhận Đức Giêsu là Đấng Kitô, Con Thiên Chúa. Họ không đón nhận Ngài.</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#002060; ">Đức Giêsu là Thiên Chúa và cũng là người thật. Chúa là người như chúng ta để hòa nhất với chúng ta. Chúa là Thiên Chúa nên mới có thể dẫn chúng ta về với Thiên Chúa. Nơi con người Đức Giêsu, thần tính được dấn ẩn sau nhân tính.</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#002060; ">Lạy Chúa Giêsu, sự khiêm hạ, tự hủy của Chúa đã thành cớ vấp phạm. Chúng con không thể hiểu được: ThiênChúa mà lại trở nên giống chúng con. Chúng con không nhận ra Chúa qua những dáng vẻ tầm thường. Nơi mỗi tha nhân chúng con gặp hằng ngày đó là hình ảnh sống động của Chúa; nhưng mấy khi chúng con đã nhận ra. Tiếng Chúa vẫn nói với chúng con trong đời thường; nhưng mấy khi chúng con nghe ra.</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#002060; "> </span></p>
