Gioan tiền hô cũng được sai đến để giới thiệu về Ngài. Thế nhưng Đức Giêsu vẫn không được tin yêu, không được đón nhận. Sự chai lì, yếu tin của đám dân khiến họ không đủ điều kiện chiến thắng. Chỉ trong Thánh Thần, sức mạnh mới được ban và giúp con người chiếm được Nước Trời.</span><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; "> </span></p>

Qua giáo huấn của Giáo Hội, đặc biệt qua Thánh Kinh, đã dạy cho chúng con biết về Chúa. Nhưng chúng con có mắt mà không nhìn, có tai mà không nghe... để Chúa vẫn còn rất xa lạ đối với chúng con. Xin Chúa Thánh Thần biến đổi con tim cứng cỏi nơi chúng con, và thay bằng con tim biết yêu thương. Để chúng con dễ dàng tin nhận Đức Giêsu, Đấng Cứu Độ chúng con.
