      <p style="margin:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-size:16.0pt; color:#0033CC; ">Thưa Bà đáng kính, tôi  rất đỗi vui mừng vì đã gặp thấy trong hàng con cái Bà có những kẻ sống trong  chân lý, theo mệnh lệnh chúng ta đã nhận từ nơi Chúa Cha. Và thưa Bà, bây giờ  tôi xin Bà, không phải như thể tôi viết cho Bà một mệnh lệnh gì mới, nhưng là  mệnh lệnh chúng ta có từ ban đầu: là chúng ta phải thương yêu nhau. Và lòng mến  này là chúng ta hãy sống theo mệnh lệnh của Người, vì đây là mệnh lệnh, là anh  em hãy sống theo luật yêu mến, như anh em đã học biết từ ban đầu.</span><span style="color:#0033CC; "> </span></p>

Ðó là kẻ lừa gạt, và là Phản-Kitô. Hãy coi chừng chính mình anh  em, để khỏi làm hư hỏng mất các công khó của chúng tôi, nhưng mà để được lĩnh  một phần thưởng sung mãn. Phàm ai xông tới trước mà không lưu lại trong giáo  huấn của Ðức Kitô, tất không có Thiên Chúa. Kẻ nào lưu lại trong giáo huấn, kẻ  ấy được có Cha và Con.<strong>]</strong></span><span style="color:#0033CC; "> </span></p>

Thiên hạ cứ ăn uống, cưới vợ gả chồng, mãi  cho tới ngày Noe vào tầu, rồi nước lụt đến tiêu diệt mọi người.</span><span style="color:#0033CC; "> </span></p>
      <p style="margin:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-size:16.0pt; color:#0033CC; ">&quot;Lại cũng như đã  xảy ra thời ông Lót: người ta ăn uống, mua bán, trồng tỉa, xây cất, nhưng ngày  ông Lót ra khỏi thành Sôđôma, thì trời liền mưa lửa và sinh diêm, tiêu diệt mọi  người. Cũng sẽ xảy như thế trong ngày Con Người xuất hiện.</span><span style="color:#0033CC; "> </span></p>
      <p style="margin:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-size:16.0pt; color:#0033CC; ">&quot;Trong ngày đó, ai  ở trên mái nhà có đồ vật trong nhà, thì chớ xuống lấy đi; và ai ở ngoài đồng  cũng đừng trở về. Các con hãy nhớ trường hợp vợ ông Lót. Ai lo cứu mạng sống  mình thì sẽ mất, còn ai đành mất sự sống mình thì giữ được nó.</span><span style="color:#0033CC; "> </span></p>

Hai phụ nữ xay cùng một cối, thì một người sẽ bị đem đi,  còn người kia sẽ được để lại. Hai người ở ngoài đồng, thì một người bị đem đi,  và người kia được để lại&quot;.</span><span style="color:#0033CC; "> </span></p>

      <p style="margin:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-size:16.0pt; color:#0033CC; ">Ðức Giêsu cho thấy  trước viễn cảnh của ngày phán xét, ngày Thiên Chúa thanh lọc để phân chia kẻ dữ  ra khỏi ngươì lành. Lời cảnh cáo của Ðức Giêsu cho thấy đó là ngày đáng sợ,  không ai có thể thoát được. Nhưng đó cũng là ngày hân hoan và hạnh phúc cho những  ai ở đời này đã sống hết mình với Chúa, với tha nhân: dám hy sinh tất cả dù  phải mất cả mạng sống mình. Như chính Ðức Giêsu đã nói: &quot;Ai liều mất mạng  sống mình, thì sẽ bảo tồn được mạng sống ấy&quot;.</span><span style="color:#0033CC; "> </span></p>
      <p style="margin:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-size:16.0pt; color:#0033CC; ">Mỗi Kitô hữu chúng ta  hãy nhìn lại cuộc sống của chúng ta để xem chúng ta sẽ lo sợ hay hân hoan đón  chờ ngày Ðức Giêsu quang lâm? Ðó là thái độ mà chúng ta cần phải chuẩn bị ngay  từ bây giờ, trong từng giây phút hiện tại.</span><span style="color:#0033CC; "> </span></p>

      <p style="margin:0cm;text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-size:16.0pt; color:#0033CC; ">Lạy Chúa Giêsu, chúng  con tin và tuyên xưng Chúa sẽ đến trong ngày tận thế để phán xét nhân loại. Như  thế, chắc chắn một là chúng con được hạnh phúc vĩnh cửu, hai là phải bị phạt  đời đời. Ðó là hậu quả mỗi người chúng con tự chọn lựa, tự chuẩn bị cho mình  qua cuộc sống hiện tại của chúng con. Xin giúp chúng con biết tỉnh thức và sáng  suốt sống theo giới răn của Chúa: mến Chúa yêu người, để chúng con không sợ hãi  khi Chúa đến, nhưng được hân hoan đón rước Chúa.
