Hãy hò hét vào đầu các Dân ngoại, hãy cất tiếng vang lên, ca hát rằng: "Lạy Chúa, xin hãy cứu dân Chúa là những kẻ sống sót trong Israel".</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#3333FF; ">Tất cả các vị thượng tế được chọn giữa loài người, nên được đặt lên thay cho loài người mà lo việc Chúa, để hiến dâng lễ vật và hy lễ đền tội. Người có thể thông cảm với những kẻ mê muội và lầm lạc, vì chính người cũng mắc phải yếu đuối tư bề. Vì thế, cũng như người phải dâng lễ đền tội thay cho dân thế nào, thì người dâng lễ đền tội cho chính mình như vậy. Không ai được chiếm vinh dự đó, nhưng phải là người được Thiên Chúa kêu gọi như Aaron.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#3333FF; ">Cũng thế, Ðức Kitô không tự dành lấy quyền làm thượng tế, nhưng là Ðấng đã nói với Người rằng: "Con là Con Cha, hôm nay Cha sinh ra Con". Cũng có nơi khác Ngài phán: "Con là tư tế đến muôn đời theo phẩm hàm Menkixêđê".</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#3333FF; ">Khi ấy, Chúa Giêsu ra khỏi thành Giêricô cùng với các môn đệ và một đám đông, thì con ông Timê tên là Bartimê, một người mù đang ngồi ăn xin ở vệ đường, khi anh ta nghe biết đó là Chúa Giêsu Nadarét, liền kêu lên rằng: "Hỡi ông Giêsu con vua Ðavít, xin thương xót tôi". Và nhiều người mắng anh bảo im đi, nhưng anh càng kêu to hơn: "Hỡi con vua Ðavít, xin thương xót tôi".</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#3333FF; ">Chúa Giêsu dừng lại và truyền gọi anh đến. Người ta gọi người mù và bảo anh: "Hãy vững tâm đứng dậy, Người gọi anh". Anh ta liệng áo choàng, đứng dậy, đến cùng Chúa Giêsu. Bấy giờ Chúa Giêsu bảo rằng: "Anh muốn Ta làm gì cho anh?" Người mù thưa: "Lạy Thầy, xin cho tôi được thấy". Chúa Giêsu đáp: "Ðược, đức tin của anh đã chữa anh". Tức thì anh ta thấy được và đi theo Người.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#3333FF; ">Lời kêu van của người mù: "Lạy Con vua Ðavít xin thương xót tôi". Cho thấy dân chúng tin Ðức Giêsu là Ðấng Cứu Thế là đấng khôi phục và giải phóng dân tộc. Nhưng khi Ðức Giêsu chữa lành cho người mù được sáng mắt. Ngài muốn hướng người ta về sứ mệnh dích thực của Ngài là cứu độ muôn dân. Ngài đến để giải thoát nhân loại khỏi đau khổ và tối tăm của sự dữ. Như thế, tin vào Ðức Giêsu, con người mới được ánh sáng, được giải phóng và được tự do làm con Thiên Chúa.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:200%;"><span style="font-family:'Times New Roman',serif; font-size:18.0pt; color:#3333FF; ">Lạy Chúa Giêsu, Chúa thi ân cho chúng con rất nhiều, nhưng chúng con được bao nhiêu còn tùy theo chúng con biết đón nhận và tin vào tình thương của Chúa. Cuộc sống của chúng con sẽ ở mãi trong tình trạng mù tối và bất hạnh, nếu chúng con không tin vào Chúa, không cậy dựa vào Chúa. Xin cho chúng con biết tìm đến với Chúa, để Chúa cho chúng con ánh sáng mà nhận ra ý nghĩa và gia tị đích thực của đời mình. Amen.</span></p>
