bạn trẻ tại Cánh đồng Lòng Thương Xót ở Cracovia, ĐTC mời gọi họ hãy nắm giữ
vai chính và đừng ”sống vật vờ như người ngái ngủ”.</font></p>

rưỡi chiều, nhiều đoàn trẻ đã đi bộ 15 cây số đến Cánh đồng Lòng thương xót,
nhận chỗ trong khu vực dành cho mình, trong khi từ trên lễ đài có những ban
nhạc giúp linh hoạt bầu không khí.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Cánh đồng Lòng Thương Xót (Campus Misericordiae) ở khu
vực Brzegi Wieliczka mạn nam thành Cracovia, trước đây là vùng bùn lầy, nơi
”những kẻ thù của nhân dân” trong thời cộng sản xô viết được gửi đến để cải
tiến đất đai. Với dự án gặp gỡ giữa ĐTC và các bạn trẻ quốc tế, khu vực này
càng được làm sạch hơn. Công binh Ba Lan cũng được huy động thiết lập 4 cây
cầu bắc qua sông để phòng khi bất trắc.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Lúc 6 giờ rưỡi chiều ngày thứ bẩy 30-7-2016, ĐTC đã rời
tòa TGM Cracovia để tới Cánh đồng Lòng Thương Xót, cách đó 12 cây số.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Khi ĐTC đến cánh đồng Thương Xót, một quả chuông nặng nửa
tấn, tên là Chuông Lòng Thương Xót đã được đánh lên để chào mừng ngài.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Sau khi cùng với 5 bạn trẻ đại diện 5 châu cầm tay nhau
tiến qua cửa Năm Thánh, ĐTC đã dùng xe papamobile để tiến qua các lối đi ở
cánh đồng để chào thăm các bạn trẻ và cả các tín hữu Ba Lan. Ban tổ chức nói
rằng số người tham dự lên tới 1,6 triệu. Trước lễ đài có khu vực dành riêng
cho hàng trăm GM. Bên phải lễ đài được dành cho ca đoàn gồm hàng ngàn ca
viên. Cũng ở phía này có bức ảnh lớn diễn tả Chúa Giêsu Thương Xót được ghép
thành bằng hàng chục ngàn hình chụp các bạn trẻ từ các nơi gửi đến ban tổ
chức.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">1. Chứng từ thứ I là của cô Natalia, người Ba Lan. Hồi
năm 2012, cô Natalia là chủ bút của một tạp chí về thời trang ở Lodz, thành
phố lớn thứ 3 của Ba Lan. Cô thành công trong nghề nghiệp, quen biết nhiều
bạn đẹp trai, trải qua hết lễ này đến lễ khác, ăn chơi thoải mái và coi đó
như ý nghĩa cuộc đời. Cho đến một hôm ngày 15-4-2012, cô tỉnh dậy với nỗi lo
lắng băn khoăn vì lối sống của mình không có gì là tốt đẹp. Natalia kể: Con
hiểu rằng mình cần phải đi xưng tội ngay trong ngày hôm đó. Con không biết
rõ phải xưng tội phải phép như thế nào. Con tìm trong trang mạng google từ
”confessione, xưng tội”. Trong một bài, con đọc được câu này: Thiên Chúa đã
chết vì yêu thương chúng ta. Con hiểu rõ hoàn toàn ý nghĩa câu đó.. Chúa đã
chết vì tình yêu đối với con, Chúa muốn ban cho con sự sống trọn vẹn, trong
khi con khép mình trong sự dửng dưng. Con vào bếp và hút một điếu thuốc.</font></p>

quá nặng, cha không thể làm gì cho con”. Dầu vậy, con cũng tìm được can đảm
và đến xưng tội. Khi con vừa chấm dứt, vì linh mục nói: Đây thật là một sự
xưng tội thật đẹp!. Con không hiểu vị linh mục muốn ám chỉ điều gì, trong
những điều con xưng thú chẳng có gì là đẹp cả!</font></p>

không? Là Chúa nhật lòng thương xót. Con có biết mấy giờ rồi không? Là đúng
3 giờ chiều, giờ của lòng thương xót. Con có biết con đang ở đâu không? Ở
nhà thờ chính tòa, nơi mà thánh nữ Faustina Kowalska vẫn cầu nguyện hằng
ngày khi người sống tại thành phố Lodz này. Bấy giờ Chúa hiện ra với thánh
nữ và nói là Ngài muốn tha thứ trong ngày ấy tất cả các tội lỗi, dù nặng nề
đến đây đi nữa. Các tội của con đã được tha, con đừng để chúng trở lại trong
đầu óc con nữa. Hãy bứng chúng khỏi đầu con”. Đó là những lời thật mạnh mẽ.
Con đi xưng tội tưởng là mình sẽ đánh mất sự sống đời đời... Con bước ra

lịch sử và cuộc sống của họ. Chúng ta đã thấy 3 chứng nhân đã sống trong sợ
hãi lo âu như các môn đệ bị cảm thấy đe dọa và bách hại.. Sợ hãi và lo âu
như anh Rand ra khỏi nhà mà biết rằng có thể mình không còn được thấy những
người thân yêu nước, hoặc lo sợ vì không cảm thấy được quí chuộng và yêu
mến, hay không có cơ may nào khác nữa. Họ đã chia sẻ với chúng ta cùng kinh
nghiệm như các môn đệ đã trải qua. Khi sợ hãi nằm vùng trong tâm hồn, thì nó
luôn có một đồng chí tháp tùng, đó là sự tê liệt, cảm thấy mình bị tê liệt.
Cảm thấy rằng trong thế giới này, trong các thành thị của chúng ta, cộng
đoàn của chúng ta, không còn chỗ cho sự tăng trưởng, mơ ước, kiến tạo, nhìn
về chân trời nữa để sống. Sự tê liệt như vậy là một trong những điều tệ hại
có thể xảy ra cho chúng ta trong cuộc sống. Sự tê liệt làm cho chúng ta
không còn hứng thú để gặp gỡ, không muốn tình bạn, không cảm thấy thích cùng

mái bằng đôi giày giùúp bạn tiến bước trên những con người chưa hề mơ ước,

trời mới, có khả năng làm cho vui mừng lan tỏa, niềm vui nảy sinh từ tình
yêu Chúa, niềm vui để lại trong tâm hồn các bạn mọi cử chỉ, mọi thái độ từ

Mình Thánh Chúa được rước lên đặt trên bàn thờ ở lễ đài. Hàng triệu ngọn nến
sáng các bạn trẻ cầm ở tay lung linh trong đêm tối, trong khi ca đoàn Ba Lan
lần lượt hát các kinh Lòng Thương Xót và kính Mình Thánh Chúa.</font></p>

giờ tối. ĐTC trở về tòa TGM để dùng bữa tối và nghỉ đêm, trong khi các bạn
trẻ ngủ lại tại cánh đồng Lòng Thương Xót để tham dự thánh lễ bế mạc vào
sáng chúa nhật hôm sau vào lúc 10 giờ.</font></td>
