binh Thụy Sĩ, đặc biệt là 23 tân vệ binh vừa làm lễ tuyên thệ chiều ngày 6-5

tin, coi công việc của mình như một sứ mạng được Chúa ủy thác, tận dụng thời
gian ở Roma như một cơ hội để đào sâu bình bạn với Chúa Giêsu, vì thế cần
nuôi dưỡng tinh thần của mình bằng kinh nguyện, lắng nghe Lời Chúa, sốt sắng
tham dự thánh lễ và vun trồng tình con thảo đối với Mẹ Maria.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">ĐTC cũng nhắc đến cơ hội của các vệ binh Thụy sĩ được cảm
nghiệm đặc tính hoàn vũ của Giáo Hội, qua sự hiện diện của các tín hữu từ
các nơi về Roma hành hương. Sau cùng ngài đặc biệt nhắn nhủ các vệ binh hãy
cảm nghiệm đời sống huynh đệ, quan tâm và nâng đỡ nhau trong công việc
thường nhật, biết đề cao đời sống chung, chia sẻ những lui vui mừng và những
khó khăn, để ý đến những người lân cận, nhiều khi chỉ cần một cử chỉ khích
lệ, một nụ cười và tình thân hữu. Ngài nói: ”Khi có những thái đọ như thế,
anh em sẽ được nâng đỡ để chuyên cần và kiên trì chu toàn những công tác lớn
nhỏ trong việc phục vụ hằng ngày, chứng tỏ lòng tử tế và tinh thần hiếu
khách, vị tha và nhân bản đối với tất cả mọi người”.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">23 tân vệ binh Thụy Sĩ đã tuyên thệ sẵn sàng bảo vệ ĐTC,
dù có phải hy sinh tính mạng, trong buổi lễ do Đức TGM Angelo Becciu, Phụ tá
quốc vụ khanh Tòa Thánh chủ tọa tại sân Damaso trong nội thành Vatican, và
trong số các quan khách hiện diện cũng có tổng thống Liên bang Thụy Sĩ.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Trong bài giảng, ĐHY nhắc nhở các vệ binh rằng ”Ơn gọi
của mỗi tín hữu được chịu phép rửa là sống như chứng nhân của Chúa Kitô mỗi
ngày, trong cuộc sống cụ thể.. Các bạn là những chứng nhân của Chúa Kitô tại
Roma này, cũng như tại quê hương Thụy Sĩ và tại bất kỳ nơi nào các bạn đi
tới, và trong một thế giới mong ước ánh sáng và sự sống, nhưng nhiều khi
người ta không có can đảm đón nhận. Các bạn hãy làm chứng nhân cho Chúa giữa
những người đồng lứa tuổi, họ khao khát ý nghĩa và sự sung mãn. Các bạn hãy
