<font face="Arial">“Ông Phêrô chạy đến ngôi mộ” (Lc 24:12). Những suy nghĩ
nào loé lên trong tâm trí của Phêrô và khuấy động tâm hồn ông khi ông chạy
đến mộ? Tin Mừng cho chúng ta biết rằng mười một tông đồ, bao gồm Phêrô, đã
không tin lời của những người phụ nữ, là lời công bố Phục Sinh của các bà.
Trái lại, “những lời này dường như chỉ là một câu chuyện ngồi lê đôi mách”
(c. 11). Như vậy là có sự nghi ngờ trong lòng Phêrô, cùng với rất nhiều lo
âu khác: nỗi buồn vì cái chết của Thầy kính yêu và vỡ mộng vì đã chối Người
ba lần trong cuộc thương khó.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Tuy nhiên, vẫn có một cái gì đó cho thấy có một sự thay
đổi trong lòng ông: sau khi nghe những người phụ nữ và từ chối không chịu
tin họ “Phêrô bật dậy” (câu 12). Ông không còn an nhiên trong tư tưởng; ông
không ở nhà như những người khác. Ông không chịu nổi bầu không khí ảm đạm
của những ngày đó, ông cũng đã bị choáng ngợp bởi những nghi ngờ của mình.
Ông đã không buông mình đắm chìm trong ân hận, sợ hãi hay những tin đồn liên
tục chẳng đi đến đâu. Ông đã tìm kiếm Chúa Giêsu, chứ không phải chính mình.
Ông thích con đường của gặp gỡ và tin tưởng. Và như vậy, ông đứng bật dậy,
hăng hái như trước, và chạy nhanh về phía ngôi mộ là nơi từ đó ông sẽ trở về
lòng đầy “kinh ngạc” (c. 12). Điều này đánh dấu sự khởi đầu của sự phục sinh
của Phêrô, sự sống lại của trái tim ông. Không buông mình trong buồn sầu hay
bóng tối, ông hy vọng: ông để cho ánh sáng của Thiên Chúa đi vào trái tim
mình, không che kín nó.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Cả những người phụ nữ, là những người đã đi ra ngoài vào
buổi sáng ban mai để thực hiện một công việc của lòng thương xót, khi lấy
dầu thơm mang đến mồ, cũng có những kinh nghiệm tương tự. Họ “sợ hãi và cúi
gầm xuống đất”, nhưng họ rúng động sâu xa bởi những lời các thiên thần: “Sao
các bà lại tìm Người Sống ở giữa kẻ chết?” (Câu 5.).</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Như Phêrô và những người phụ nữ, chúng ta không thể khám
phá ý nghĩa cuộc sống bằng thái độ buồn bã, hoàn toàn tuyệt vọng. Xin đừng
giam cầm chính mình bên trong chúng ta, nhưng hãy phá vỡ mở ngôi mộ kín của
chúng ta với Chúa để Ngài có thể bước vào và ban cho chúng ta sự sống. Chúng
ta hãy trao cho Ngài tảng đá hận thù của chúng ta và các tảng đá của quá
khứ, những gánh nặng của yếu đuối và sa ngã của chúng ta. Đức Kitô muốn đến
và nắm tay chúng ta để đưa chúng ta ra khỏi nỗi sầu của chúng ta. Đây là
viên đá đầu tiên cần phải được di chuyển sang một bên đêm nay: đó là tâm lý
thiếu hy vọng đã giam cầm chúng ta bên trong chính mình. Nguyện xin Chúa
giải thoát chúng ta khỏi cái bẫy này, khỏi cái tình trạng là Kitô hữu mà
chẳng có chút hy vọng nào, là Kitô hữu mà sống như thể Chúa đã không sống
lại, như thể những vấn đề của chúng ta mới là trung tâm đời sống chúng ta.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Chúng ta thấy và sẽ tiếp tục thấy những vấn đề cả trong
lẫn ngoài. Lúc nào cũng có những vấn đề. Nhưng đêm nay, điều quan trọng là
hãy để ánh sáng của Chúa Phục Sinh chiếu rọi lên các vấn đề của chúng ta, và
trong một nghĩa nào đó, hãy “rao giảng Tin Mừng” cho chúng. Xin đừng để cho
bóng tối và sợ hãi đánh lạc hướng chúng ta và kiểm soát chúng ta; chúng ta
phải gào to lên với chúng: Chúa “không ở đây, nhưng đã sống lại!” (câu 6.).
Ngài là niềm vui lớn nhất của chúng ta; Ngài luôn luôn ở bên cạnh chúng ta
và sẽ không bao giờ làm ta thất vọng.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Đây là nền tảng của niềm hy vọng của chúng ta, chứ không
chỉ là thái độ lạc quan, cũng chẳng phải là thái độ tâm lý hoặc lòng ao ước
muốn được can đảm. Hy vọng Kitô giáo là một ân sủng Chúa ban cho chúng ta
nếu chúng ta ra khỏi chính mình và mở rộng lòng mình với Ngài. Niềm hy vọng
này không làm chúng ta thất vọng vì chính Chúa Thánh Thần đã gieo nềm hy
vọng ấy vào lòng chúng ta (Rm 5: 5). Đấng Bào Chữa không làm cho mọi thứ
trông hấp dẫn. Ngài không loại bỏ cái ác với một cây đũa thần. Nhưng Ngài đổ
vào chúng ta sức sống cho một cuộc đời không phải là không có những vấn đề,
nhưng có một sự chắc chắn là chúng ta luôn luôn được yêu mến và tha thứ bởi
Chúa Kitô, Đấng vì chúng ta đã chiến thắng tội lỗi, sự chết và sự sợ hãi.
Hôm nay là lễ của niềm hy vọng của chúng ta, của những kỷ niệm về sự thật
này: không có gì và không một ai có thể tách chúng ta ra khỏi tình yêu của
Thiên Chúa (Rm 8:39).</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Chúa đang sống và muốn được tìm kiếm giữa những người
sống. Sau khi tìm thấy Ngài, mỗi người được Người gửi đi công bố thông điệp
Phục Sinh, để thức tỉnh và làm sống lại hy vọng nơi những tâm hồn bị đè nặng
bởi ưu phiền, nơi những ai cố gắng tìm ra ý nghĩa của cuộc sống. Điều này,
hiện nay rất cần thiết. Tuy nhiên, chúng ta không được công bố chính mình.
Thay vào đó, là tôi tớ hân hoan của niềm hy vọng, chúng ta phải công bố Đấng
Phục Sinh bằng cuộc sống và tình yêu của chúng ta; nếu không chúng ta sẽ chỉ
là một tổ chức quốc tế có đông đảo các tín đồ với những luật lệ tốt đấy,
nhưng không có khả năng đưa ra niềm hy vọng mà thế giới đang chờ đợi.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Làm thế nào chúng ta có thể tăng cường niềm hy vọng của
chúng ta? Phụng vụ đêm nay đưa ra một số hướng dẫn. Phụng Vụ dạy cho chúng
ta phải nhớ đến những kỳ công của Thiên Chúa. Các bài đọc mô tả sự trung tín
của Thiên Chúa, và lịch sử tình yêu của Ngài đối với chúng ta. Lời Hằng Sống
của Thiên Chúa có thể lôi cuốn chúng ta vào trong lịch sử tình yêu này, nuôi
dưỡng niềm hy vọng của chúng ta và đổi mới niềm vui của chúng ta. Tin Mừng
cũng nhắc nhở chúng ta điều này: để nhen nhóm hy vọng trong trái tim của
những người phụ nữ, thiên thần nói với họ: “Hãy nhớ lại điều Người đã nói
với các bà” (câu 6.). Đừng quên lời nói và những kỳ công của Ngài, nếu không
chúng ta sẽ đánh mất hy vọng. Trái lại, chúng ta hãy nhớ đến Chúa, sự tốt
lành và những lời ban sự sống của Người là những điều đã làm chúng ta xúc
động. Chúng ta hãy nhớ đến những điều đó và biến chúng ta trở thành những
tuần canh của hừng đông, những người biết làm thế nào để giúp người khác
nhìn thấy những dấu chỉ của Chúa Phục Sinh.</font></p>
