<font face="Arial">VATICAN. Trong buổi tiếp kiến giáo triều Roma sáng ngày
21-12-2015, ĐTC đã liệt kê một danh sách 12 cặp đức tính cần thiết cho những
người phục vụ trong giáo triều và tất cả những người làm cho sự thánh hiến
hoặc việc phục vụ của họ dành cho Giáo Hội được phong phú.<br>
<br>
Các HY, GM và các chức sắc cấp cao của Tòa Thánh đến chúc mừng ĐTC nhân dịp
lễ giáng sinh và năm mới. ĐTC nhắc lại rằng trong dịp gặp gỡ năm ngoái, ngài
đã nói đến 15 thứ bệnh và cám dỗ có thể xảy ra cho mỗi Kitô hữu, mỗi giáo
triều hay giáo phủ, các cộng đoàn, dòng tu, giáo xứ và phong trào Giáo Hội.
Các thứ bệnh đó đòi phải phòng ngừa, cảnh giác, chữa trị và đôi khi có những
can thiệp đau thương và kéo dài. Một vài thứ bệnh đó, rất tiếc là đã xảy ra
trong năm nay, gây đau khổ không ít cho toàn thể thân mình và làm tổn thương
bao nhiêu linh hồn”.<br>
<br>
ĐTC cũng nói thêm rằng: ”Thật là một bất công rất lớn nếu không biểu lộ lòng
biết ơn sâu đạm và khích lệ đúng phép đối với tất cả những người lành mạnh
và lương thiện đang tận tụy làm việc, với lòng trung thành và khả năng
chuyên môn, cống hiến cho Giáo Hội và người kế vị Thánh Phêrô, sự an ủi,
liên đới, vâng phục cũng như kinh nguyện quảng đại của họ”.<br>
<br>
Rồi ĐTC lần lượt liệt kê và giải thích các đức tính mà những người phục vụ
tại Tòa Thánh và Giáo Hội cần phải đó. Ngài cũng kêu gọi các vị Tổng trưởng,
Chủ tịch và các Bề trên hãy đào sâu thêm và bổ túc các đức tính này cho các
cơ quan liên hệ thuộc quyền.<br>
<br>
Trong số các đức tính đó có: tinh thần truyền giáo và mục vụ (1), khả năng
thích hợp và tinh tế (2), linh đạo và tình người (3), gương mẫu và trung
thành (4), hợp lý và dễ mến (5), thận trọng và cương quyết (6), bác ái và sự
thật (7), lương thiện và trưởng thành (8), tôn trọng và khiêm tốn (9), quảng
đại và quan tâm (10), can đảm và mau mắn, đáng tín nhiệm và điều độ (12).<br>
<br>
ĐTC nhận xét rằng tất cả các đức tính trên đây có thể là một sự vắn tắt về
lòng thương xót, và trong phần kết luận, ngài nói:<br>

”Lòng thương xót không phải là một tình cảm chóng qua, nhưng là tổng hợp Tin
Mừng, là sự chọn lựa của người muốn có những tâm tình của Trái Tim Chúa
Giêsu, của người muốn nghiêm túc bước theo Chúa, Đấng yêu cầu chúng ta: ”Các
con hãy có lòng thương xót như Cha các con” (Lc 6,36, Xc 5,48).<br>
<br>
Vì vậy, ”Ước gì lòng thương xót hướng dẫn những bước đường của chúng ta, soi
sáng các cuộc cải tổ và những quyết định của chúng ta. Ước gì lòng thương
xót là cột trụ nâng đỡ hoạt động của chúng ta, dạy chúng ta khi nào chúng ta
phải tiến bước và khi nào chúng ta phải bước lui..” (SD 21-12-2015)</font></td>
