<font face="Arial">Trong cuộc viếng thăm mục vụ tại Firenze ngày 10-11-2015,
sau khi gặp gỡ các GM và 2500 đại biểu của 220 giáo phận toàn nước Italia,
ĐTC đến Vương cung thánh đường Đức Mẹ Truyền Tin gần đó để chủ sự buổi đọc
kinh Truyền Tin và viếng thăm các bệnh nhân tại đây, rồi ngài tiến qua quán
ăn cạnh đó tên là ”thánh Phanxicô người nghèo” do Caritas Firenze đảm trách.
Tại đây ĐTC đã dùng bữa trưa với 60 người nghèo thuộc nhiều quốc tịch khác
nhau, trong đó có 30 người Italia.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Sau khi nghỉ trưa tại tòa TGM, lúc gần 15 giờ chiều, ĐTC
đã đến Sân vận động ”Artemio Franchi”. Ngài tiến qua các lối đi để chào thăm
52 ngàn tín hữu ngồi chật thao trường. Đồng tế với ngài có các GM của 220
giáo phận Italia và hơn 300 linh mục. Lễ đài tại đây do các tù nhân tự
nguyện làm để tặng ĐTC.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Trong bài giảng, ĐTC đã diễn giảng bài Tin Mừng ghi lại
lời Chúa Giêsu hỏi các môn đệ: người ta bảo Thầy là ai? Và các con nói Thầy
là ai? Sau cùng là lời tuyên xưng của thánh Phêrô: Thầy là Con Thiên Chúa
hằng sống!</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Từ những ý tưởng đó, ĐTC nhấn mạnh rằng Giáo Hội phải
quan tâm đến con người và cuộc sống của họ: duy trì một sự tiếp xúc lành
mạnh với thực tại, nghĩa là với cuộc sống cụ thể của dân chúng, những đau
buồn và vui mừng của họ, là cách thức duy nhất để có thể giúp đỡ, huấn luyện
và đả thông với họ. Các môn đệ của Chúa Giêsu không bao giờ được quên mình
đã được chọn từ đâu nghĩa là từ nơi dân chúng, và không bao giờ được rơi vào
cám dỗ có thái độ xa cách, như thể những điều dân chúng nghĩ và sống chẳng
liên hệ gì đến mình.</font></p>

và sứ mạng của chúng ta là biết Chúa Giêsu trong sự thật, chỉ như thế chúng
ta mới có thể nhìn thấy chân lý trong thân phận con ngừơi của chúng ta và
mới có thể góp phần nhân bản hóa trọn vẹn xã hội.</font></p>

ngày nay cũng vậy, niềm vui của chúng ta là chia sẻ niềm tin và cùng nhau
thưa với Chúa Giêsu: ”Đối với chúng con, Thầy là Đức Kitô, Con Thiên Chúa
hằng sống”. Niềm vui của chúng ta cũng là đi ngược dòng và vượt lên trên dư
luận thông thường, dư luận này ngày nay cũng như thời xưa, không nhìn thấy
nơi Chúa Giêsu một Đấng vượt lên trên một vị ngôn sứ hoặc một tôn sư. Niềm
vui của chúng ta là nhận ra nơi Chúa Giêsu sự hiện diện của Thiên Chúa, Đấng
được Chúa Cha sai đi, là Chúa Con đến để trở thành dụng cụ cứu độ nhân loại.
Sự tuyên xưng đức tin này mà Simon Phêrô xướng lên vẫn có giá trị đối với
chúng ta. Sự tuyên xưng ấy không phải chỉ là nền tảng ơn cứu độ chúng ta,
nhưng cũng là con đường qua đó ơn cứu độ được thể hiện và là mục tiêu phải
tiến tới”.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Sau cùng, ĐTC nhấn mạnh tới khía cạnh bác ái của thuyết
nhân bản mà thành Firenze đã từng chứng kiến. Thuyết này luôn có một khuôn
mặt bác ái. “Thiên Chúa và con người không phải là hai thái cực đối nghịch
nhau: cả hai vẫn luôn tìm kiếm nhau, vì Thiên Chúa nhận ra nơi con người
chính hình ảnh của Ngài và con người chỉ nhận ra mình khi nhìn Thiên Chúa.
Đó là sự khôn ngoan đích thực và sách Huấn Ca mô tả như đặc tính của người
bước theo Chúa. Đó là sự khôn ngoan của thánh Lêô Cả, người miền Toscana
này, kết quả của sự đồng qui các yếu tố khác nhau: lời nói, trí tuệ, kinh
nguyện, giáo huấn, ký ức. Thánh Lêrô cũng nhức nhở chúng ta rằng không thể
có sự khôn ngoan chân thực nếu không ở trong mối liên hệ với Chúa Kitô và
trong việc phục vụ của Giáo Hội”.</font></p>

Vatican lúc quá 6 giờ chiều, kết thúc cuộc viếng thăm tron ngày tại hai giáo
