bản tường trình các cuộc thảo luận về phần thứ hai của Tài Liệu Làm Việc do
13 Nhóm Nhỏ của Thượng Hội Đồng về Gia Đình đệ trình, trong đó, có tường
trình của nhóm nói tiếng Đức. Sau đây là bản dịch của bản tường trình vừa
nói, dựa trên bản tiếng Anh của hãng tin CNA.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Chúng tôi đã thảo luận sâu rộng các ý niệm, vẫn luôn được
coi như chống chọi nhau, là thương xót và sự thật, ơn thánh và công lý, và
mối tương quan thần học giữa chúng với nhau. Nơi Thiên Chúa, chúng không hề
chống chọi nhau: vì Thiên Chúa là tình yêu, nơi Người công bình và thương
xót chỉ là một. Lòng thương xót của Thiên Chúa là sự thật nền tảng của mạc
khải của Người, không hề chống chọi đối với các sự thật khác của mạc khải.
Đúng hơn, nó vén mở cho ta nền tảng sâu xa nhất của mạc khải, vì nó cho ta
hay tại sao Thiên Chúa lại tự đổ mình ra nơi Con một của Người và tại sao
Chúa Giêsu Kitô, bằng lời nói và bằng các bí tích của Người, đang hiện diện
và ở lại để cứu chuộc ta trong Giáo Hội của Người. Qua việc này, lòng thương
xót của Thiên Chúa tỏ cho ta thấy lý do và mục đích của toàn bộ công trình
cứu chuộc. Công lý của Thiên Chúa chính là lòng thương xót của Người, với
nó, Người đã làm ta ra công chính.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Chúng tôi cũng xét xem việc đi sâu vào nhau này đem lại
những hậu quả nào cho việc chúng ta đồng hành với hôn nhân và gia đình. Nó
đòi phải loại bỏ việc giải thích một chiều, theo lối diễn dịch, là lối rút
các tình huống cụ thể từ một nguyên tắc tổng quát. Theo chiều hướng của
Thánh Tôm Aquinô và cũng là của Công Đồng Trent, người ta mong áp dụng các
nguyên tắc nền tảng vào từng tình huống chuyên biệt, thường là phức tạp, một
cách thận trọng và khôn ngoan. Ở đây, người ta không nói tới các ngoại lệ,
mà Lời Thiên Chúa vốn không áp dụng, mà là nói tới việc áp dụng công bình và
thích đáng lời lẽ của Chúa Giêsu một cách thận trọng và khôn ngoan, thí dụ,
lời Người nói về tính bất khả tiêu của hôn nhân. Thánh Tôma Aquinô minh họa
sự cần thiết của việc áp dụng cụ thể như sau: “việc tùy thuộc sự thận trọng
không chỉ có nghĩa phải xem xét lý do, mà cả việc áp dụng vào hành động nữa,
một việc vốn là cùng đích của lý trí thực tiễn” (STh II-II 47.3: “ad
prudentiam pertinet non solum consideratio rationis, sed etiam applicatio ad
opus, quae est finis practicae rationis”).</font></p>

tiệm tiến dẫn người ta tới bí tích hôn nhân như nhiều lần được nhắc đến
trong chương ba của phần thứ hai Tài Liệu Làm Việc, từ các mối liên hệ không
chính thức tới những cặp sống chung không cheo cưới tới những cặp kết hôn
dân sự và sau cùng tới cuộc hôn nhân bí tích và có tính bí tíc theo Giáo
Hội. Đồng hành với những người này trên những bước khác nhau về mục vụ là
một trách nhiệm mục vụ lớn lao, nhưng cũng là một niềm vui.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Điều cũng đã trở nên rõ ràng đối với chúng tôi là trong

không đủ tính lịch sử và đời người (biographically-historically). Giáo huấn
của Giáo Hội về hôn nhân đã theo lịch sử mà phát triển và được thâm hậu hóa.
Khởi đầu, nó tìm cách nhân bản hóa hôn nhân, nhờ thế mà có xác tín về đơn
hôn. Dưới ánh sáng đức tin Kitô Giáo, phẩm giá bản thân của các người phối
ngẫu được nhìn nhận một cách sâu sắc hơn và hình ảnh Thiên Chúa nơi con
người được nhận thức qua mối tương quan đàn ông đàn bà. Bước tiếp theo, một
Giáo Hội học về hôn nhân đã được đào sâu, và hôn nhân được hiểu như một Giáo
Hội tại gia.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Cuối cùng, bản chất bí tích của hôn nhân được Giáo Hội
hoàn toàn ý thức. Ngày nay, con đường thâm hậu hóa có tính lịch sử này cũng
đang được phản ảnh trong tiểu sử nhiều con người. Thoạt đầu, họ được đánh
động bởi chiều kích nhân bản của hôn nhân, sau đó, họ được thuyết phục bởi
viễn kiến Kitô Giáo về hôn nhân trong đời sống Giáo Hội, và từ đó, họ tìm ra
đường cử hành hôn nhân bí tích. Việc phát triển có tính lịch sử của giáo
huấn Giáo Hội cần tới thời gian như thế nào, thì phương thức mục vụ cũng
phải dành thời gian cho người ta chín mùi trên đường tiến tới cuộc hôn nhân
bí tích của họ như thế, chứ không thể hành động theo nguyên tắc “tất cả hay
không gì cả”.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Chính ở đây, người ta thấy ý niệm về một “diễn trình năng
động” (FC số 9) đang khai triển phải được thăng tiến, một ý niệm từng được
Đức Gioan Phaolô II trình bầy trong Familiaris consortio: “Quan tâm mục vụ
của Giáo Hội sẽ không chỉ tự giới hạn vào các gia đình Kitô hữu hiện nay; nó
sẽ kéo dài tới tận chân trời của nó, phù hợp với Trái Tim Chúa Giêsu, và sẽ
tự chứng tỏ là sống động hơn nữa đối với các gia đình nói chung và cách
riêng đối với các gia đình đang rơi vào các tình huống khó khăn hay bất hợp
lệ” (FC số 65). Giáo Hội không tránh khỏi thấy mình rơi vào một căng thẳng ở
đây, giữa một đàng là giáo huấn nhất thiết rõ ràng về hôn nhân và gia đình,
và đàng kia là trách nhiệm mục vụ cụ thể phải đồng hành với người ta và
thuyết phục họ, khi lối sống của họ chỉ một phần phù hợp với các nguyên tắc
căn bản của Giáo Hội. Với họ, Giáo Hội phải bước theo con đường dẫn tới một
cuộc sống hôn nhân và gia đình viên mãn như là tin mừng các lời hứa gia
đình.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Để đạt được điều trên, ta cần phải có một nền chăm sóc
mục vụ nhắm vào con người, và bao gồm như nhau tính qui phạm của giáo huấn
Giáo Hội và tính nhân vị của con người nhân bản, lưu ý tới khả năng của con
người có thể đào tạo được lương tâm và củng cố trách nhiệm của mình. “Vì,
trong trái tim họ, con người có một luật lệ được Thiên Chúa viết sẵn ở đó;
vâng phục luật lệ này chính là phẩm giá của họ; họ sẽ được phán xét theo đó.
Lương tâm là cốt lõi bí nhiệm nhất và là cung thánh của con người. Ở đó, họ
một mình với Thiên Chúa; tiếng Người vang vọng tận thẳm sâu nhất của họ” (GS
số 16).</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Không nên có bất cứ ấn tượng nào rằng Thánh Kinh chỉ được
dùng như một nguồn trích dẫn cho các xác tín thuộc tín điều, luật lệ hay đạo
đức học mà thôi. Lề luật của Tân Ước là công trình của Chúa Thánh Thần nơi
trái tim tín hữu (xem Sách Giáo Lý Của Giáo Hội Công Giáo, các số
1965-1966). Lời viết phải được tích nhập vào Lời Hằng Sống vốn ngự cư nơi
Chúa Thánh Thần trong trái tim con người. Điều này đem lại cho Thánh Kinh
một sức mạnh thiêng liêng sâu rộng.</font></p>

Trong lịch sử nhân loại, hôn nhân tự nhiên này luôn được văn hóa lên khuôn.
Ý niệm hôn nhân tự nhiên có thể bao hàm điều này: có một hình thức sống tự
nhiên cho nhân loại mà không cần bất cứ ảnh hưởng sâu rộng nào của văn hóa.
Do đó, chúng tôi đề nghị nên viết thế này: “hôn nhân, như được đặt căn bản
