<font face="Arial">Tại cuộc họp báo của Phòng Báo Chí Tòa Thánh hôm nay, Đức
Hồng Y Reinhard Marx của Đức đã nói rằng: “Tôi hy vọng Thượng Hội Đồng này
sẽ là một Thượng Hội Đồng để lại cho chúng ta những cánh cửa mở rộng, chứ
không phải những cánh cửa khép kín”. Đức Hồng Y Marx cùng hiện diện trong
buổi họp báo này với Đức Hồng Y Daniel Sturla Berhouet của Uruguay, và Đức
Tổng Giám Mục Eamon Martin của Ái Nhĩ Lan.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Đức Hồng Y Berhouet giải thích rằng đây là Thượng Hội
Đồng đầu tiên đối với ngài nên ngài “học hỏi được nhiều điều mới mẻ”. Ngài
cho biết ngài rất ngạc nhiên trước cường độ của công việc và các ý kiến đa
dạng của các đại biểu. Ngài nghĩ rằng các đại biểu đã làm tất cả những gì
các ngài có thể làm để trợ giúp Đức Thánh Cha quyết định tiến về phía trước.
Đức Hồng Y giải thích thêm: theo ngài, điều quan trọng là Giáo Hội tìm ra
những phương cách để đồng hành với người ta lúc họ rơi vào các tình huống
bấp bênh, mỏng dòn.</font></p>

Đồng đầu tiên đối với ngài và ngài thấy nó quả là một “trải nghiệm tuyệt
vời”. Ngài nghĩ rằng các đại biểu đã tìm được điểm đồng qui thực sự, xây
dựng trên các hy vọng và tranh đấu chung. Ngài nói tới sự quan trọng của
việc đồng hành với ơn gọi của gia đình giống như Giáo Hội vốn đang đồng hành
với các ơn gọi làm linh mục và tu dòng. Đức Tổng Giám Mục Martin nói rằng có
hai điều ngài cho là quan trọng hơn cả đối với Thượng Hội Đồng này. Thứ
nhất, chúng ta cầu nguyện cho các gia đình và thứ hai, Giáo Hội đưa ra sự
hướng dẫn tích cực và rõ ràng trong giáo huấn của mình về gia đình.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Đức Hồng Y Marx cho biết: trong nhóm nhỏ của ngài, các
thành viên đã dành nhiều thời gian để bàn luận kỹ càng vấn đề tìm ra cách
tiến bộ để những người ly dị và tái hôn dân sự có thể được hoà giải với Giáo
Hội. Ngài nhấn mạnh rằng các đề nghị của nhóm ngài đã được nhất trí chấp
thuận, cả Đức Hồng Y Kasper lẫn Đức Hồng Y Gerhard Muller, bộ trưởng Tín Lý,
đều thuộc nhóm này. Đức Hồng Y Marx nói tại cuộc họp báo rằng nhóm đã cố
gắng rất nhiều để đưa ra một thần học tốt đẹp. Ngài nói: “bạn có thể nói tôi
có ý kiến nhưng bạn phải rất rõ ràng trong kiến thức của bạn để bạn có thể
giải thích được nó”. Theo ngài, đây là một công việc khó khăn nhưng các
thành viên buộc phải thảo luận các vấn đề khó khăn và tìm ra phương cách
chung “có thể được mọi người chấp thuận”. Ngài nói rằng Giáo Hội đã bắt đầu
một cuộc thảo luận khắp thế giới về tầm quan trọng của đời sống gia đình đối
với xã hội và nhân sinh. Đức Hồng Y Marx nói thêm: các ngài cũng thảo luận
về phái tính và lên án bất cứ hình thức kỳ thị nào đối với phụ nữ.</font></p>

nhóm nói tiếng Tây Ban Nha của ngài xem ra cởi mở hơn đối với các phương
thức tiến bộ mới mẻ. Nhóm bắt đầu bản tường trình của mình bằng câu “chúng
ta phải lắng nghe tiếng kêu của những người muốn được lãnh nhận các bí
tích”. Ngài trả lời rằng có nhiều lớp lang trong cuộc sống gia đình khiến sự
việc ra phức tạp. Ngài nói: “các phụ nữ trẻ có con từ nhiều người cha khác
nhau trong các khu nghèo nàn vì nhiều lý do; vì các tình huống khác nhau ấy,
chúng ta phải nhậy cảm hơn”.</font></p>
