nói như trên trong bài giảng thánh lễ sáng thứ Năm 1 tháng Mười, lễ Thánh
Têrêxa thành Lisieux, tại nhà nguyện Santa Marta. Đức Thánh Cha đặc biệt
nhấn mạnh sự cần thiết phải nuôi dưỡng nỗi nhớ, hay lòng khao khát Thiên

<font face="Arial">Dựa trên bài đọc thứ nhất, trích từ Sách Tiên Tri
Nơ-khe-mi-a, Đức Thánh Cha Phanxicô phân tích tâm trạng người Do Thái,
người, sau nhiều năm dài sống lưu vong, cuối cùng đã trở về được Giêrusalem.
Ngài nhắc lại rằng, trong những năm lưu đày tại Babylon, người Do Thái luôn
nhớ đến quê hương của họ. Sau nhiều năm, ngày trở về cuối cùng đã đến, và
cùng với ngày trở về này là quyết tâm xây dựng lại Giêrusalem, như được
thuật lại trong bài đọc thứ nhất. Tiên Tri Nơ-khe-mi-a yêu cầu thày ký lục
Ezra đọc cho mọi người nghe sách Lề Luật, và mọi người đều hạnh phúc, “Họ
đang khóc trong niềm vui của họ, và cảm nhận được Lời Chúa như một niềm vui,
và tất cả cùng nhau khóc vì vui mừng”</font></p>

này không chỉ đã tìm thấy thành phố của mình, thành phố nơi họ đã được sinh
ra, thành phố của Thiên Chúa, nhưng khi nghe các Lề Luật, họ cũng khám phá
ra bản sắc của mình, và vì thế họ đã khóc vì vui sướng”</font></p>

bản sắc đã bị suy yếu phần nào trong những năm sống lưu vong. Đó là một hành
trình dài. Tiên Tri Nơ-khe-mi-a nói: ‘Đừng buồn nữa vì niềm vui nơi Thiên
Chúa là sức mạnh của chúng ta’. Đó là niềm vui mà Chúa ban cho ta khi ta
khám phá ra mình thực sự là ai – và tìm lại được bản sắc riêng của mình đã
bị đánh mất trên đường đời, trong những năm lưu lạc - hoặc tự lưu đày chính
mình khỏi tình yêu Thiên Chúa, khi chúng làm tổ ở chỗ này chỗ nọ, chứ không
cư ngụ trong nhà của Chúa”.</font></p>

tìm thấy bản sắc của mình. Ngài trả lời như sau: “Khi anh chị em đánh mất đi
những gì là của mình, ngôi nhà của mình, những gì là của riêng mình, anh chị
em có nỗi nhớ, và chính nỗi nhớ này mang anh chị em trở về nhà. Với nỗi nhớ
khôn nguôi ấy, những người này cảm thấy mình hạnh phúc, họ khóc vì vui mừng,
vì nỗi nhớ thiết tha này mà họ nhận ra được căn tính thực sự của mình, và đã
dẫn họ tìm lại được quê hương của mình một lần nữa. Đó là một ân sủng của

không biết đến niềm vui, là niềm vui thực sự, là sức mạnh của chúng ta, đó
là niềm vui nơi Thiên Chúa. Một trái tim không biết nỗi nhớ là gì, không có
khả năng cử mừng thật sự - và khi đó, cuộc hành trình dai dẳng trong nhiều
năm này, chỉ kết thúc bằng một bữa tiệc”.</font></p>
