<font face="Arial">“Sứ mệnh của Radio Vatican nhắc lại sứ mệnh của các thiên
thần tổng lãnh: truyền thông trung thực, chữa lành và bảo vệ chống sự dữ, để
mở con đường cho Chúa. Là những người đi tuyến đầu để các người khác được
trung thực,” Đức Hồng y nói trong bài giảng của mình. Ngài khuyến khích mỗi
người làm việc trong tinh thần đồng đội, Radio Vatican được nổi tiếng qua
tính “đồng nhất” nghề nghiệp và tinh thần Phúc Âm của mình. Ngài nhấn mạnh
đến tầm quan trọng của việc đưa tin khách quan, “đúng”, không chạy theo thị
hiếu nhất thời, cũng không “áp lực của xúc cảm nặng nề và giả tạo”. Một
thông tin không làm nô lệ cho những lợi ích hay quyền lực để đạt mục đích
của mình, để phải “uốn cong thông tin.” “Phục vụ Chúa Kitô mang đến một ưu
thế không gì so sánh được, đó là tôi tớ của sự thật vì thế thoát được mọi sự
lệ thuộc khác”, Đức Hồng y Parolin giải thích. </font></p>

<font face="Arial">Hồng y Quốc vụ khanh khen ngợi tính “năng động” của hệ
thống truyền thông luôn đổi mới kể từ ngày thành lập năm 1931 và ngài xin họ
tiếp tục cố gắng này “với tấm lòng an bình và tin tưởng” và tân giám đốc
phải xem lại hệ thống thông tin của Tòa Thánh, kết hiệp lại các truyền thông
khác nhau của Vatican. “Công việc này sẽ không dễ”, hồng y tiên đoán trước,
ngài mời gọi mỗi người đóng góp phần tốt nhất của mình. Kinh nghiệm, sẵn
sàng và hợp tác, Radio Vatican là “cơ cấu nền tảng cho trách vụ mới này”. </font></p>

mới, linh mục Andrzej Majewski thay thế linh mục Andrzej Koprowski, cả hai
đều Dòng Tên và là người Ba Lan. </font></p>

lần lượt học ở Cracovia, Rôma và Salamanque. Năm 1984, cha thực tập ở Radio
Vatican, ban nói tiếng Ba Lan. Sau nhiều năm ở Ba Lan, cha trở lại điều
khiển Radio Vatican. Năm 2001 cha Majewski về Ba Lan để điều khiển Trung tâm
Âu Châu truyền thông và văn hóa, một tổ chức do các tu sĩ Dòng Tên đảm
trách, cha cũng điều khiển các chương trình công giáo của truyền hình Ba
Lan. Từ năm 2010 đến 2015, cha là viện trưởng trường Dòng Tên ở Varsova.</font></td>
