công bố sứ điệp ĐTC gửi Ngày Quốc Tế các Bệnh Nhân 11 tháng 2 năm 2016 với
đề tài: “Tín thác nơi Chúa Giêsu từ bi như Mẹ Maria: Bất cứ gì Ngài nói với
anh em, hãy cứ làm”.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Sứ điệp của ĐTC trả lời cho câu hỏi mà người bệnh, đặc
biệt là bệnh nặng, thường đưa ra “Tại sao lại là tôi?” Bệnh tật khiến cho
chúng ta bị khủng hoảng và dễ bị cám dỗ rơi vào thất vọng và nổi loạn, vì
nghĩ rằng đã mất mọi sự. Nhưng chính trong các lúc ấy đức tin vén mở cho
chúng ta thấy tiềm năng tích cực của bệnh tật. Đức tin không làm cho bệnh
tật hay khổ đau biến mất, nhưng cung cấp cho chúng ta một chìa khóa đọc
hiểu, qua đó có thể khám phá ra ý nghĩa sâu xa của điều chúng ta sống. Và Mẹ
Maria Mẹ Thiên Chúa, “chuyên viên sự sống”, trao ban chìa khóa đó cho chúng
ta, giúp chúng ta tiến tới gần Chúa Giêsu hơn.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Tiếp tục sứ điêp ĐTC suy tư trình thuật tiệc cưới tại
làng Cana, và định nghĩa nó là hình ảnh của Giáo Hội có Chúa Giêsu thương
xót ở giữa, chung quanh có các môn đệ và Đức Mẹ là “quan phòng và cầu
nguyện”, là “Mẹ được an ủi ủi an con cái Mẹ”, là “phụ nữ sốt sắng có con mắt
thức tỉnh và tốt lành” và “có con tim hiền mẫu tràn đầy lòng thương xót”.
Trong sự ân cần của Mẹ phản ánh lòng dịu hiền của Thiên Chúa, cũng là sự dịu
hiền chúng ta tìm thấy nơi biết bao nhiêu người săn sóc các bệnh nhân và
biết đón nhận các nhu cầu, kể cả những nhu cầu khó có thể nhận ra, bởi vì họ
nhìn với con mắt đầy tình yêu”. ĐTC nhắc đến các bà mẹ ngồi bên cạnh đầu
giường của con cái đau yếu, con cái săn sóc cha mẹ già, các cháu ở bên cạnh
ông bà: tất cả đều tín thác nơi bàn tay của Đức Mẹ. Chúng ta xin gì cho
những người thân yêu của chúng ta? Dĩ nhiên là sức khỏe, bởi vì chính Chúa
Giêsu đã biểu lộ Nước Thiên Chúa qua các vụ chữa lành bệnh tật. Nhưng chúng
ta cũng xin cái gì lớn lao hơn nữa: chúng ta xin sự bình an, một sự thanh
thản của cuộc sống phát xuất từ con tim và là ơn của Thiên Chúa.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Trong sứ điệp ĐTC cũng chú ý đến các gia nhân của tiệc
cưới làng Cana, những người múc nước đổ đầy chum mà Chúa Kitô biến thành
rượu. Họ là “những người vô danh”, nhưng dậy cho chúng ta biết bao nhiêu
điều, bởi vị họ vâng lời cách quảng đại và làm ngay và làm tốt điều họ được
xin làm, mà không kêu ca và không tính toán. Điều này cho chúng ta biết rằng
Chúa Giêsu tin tưởng nơi sư cộng tác của con người. Nó có thể là một việc
phục vụ mệt nhọc và nặng nề, nhưng Chúa biến đổi nó thành cái gì thiên linh,
bởi vì phục vụ tha nhân làm cho chúng ta trở nên giống Chúa Giêsu hơn mọi sự
khác. Như thế chúng ta tất cả có thể là “bàn tay, cánh tay, con tim” giúp
Thiên Chúa thành toàn các điều lạ lùng, thường dấu ẩn, và nếu chúng ta theo
gương Mẹ Maria, thì Chúa Giêsu sẽ luôn luôn biến đổi nước cuộc sống chúng ta
thành ruợu hảo hạng.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Hưóng nhìn về Năm Thánh Lòng Thương Xót và Ngày Quốc Tế
các Bệnh Nhân sẽ được cử hành bên Thánh Địa, cũng như hai nữ tu con cái của
vùng đất này đã được phong hiển thánh hồi tháng 5 năm nay, là thánh Maria
Alfonsine Danil Ghattas và thánh Maria Chúa Giêsu bị đóng đinh Bouardy, ĐTC
nhấn mạnh rằng mỗi nhà thương hay nhà săn sóc có thể là một dấu chỉ hữu hình
và là nơi giúp thăng tiến nền văn hóa gặp gỡ và hoà bình, nơi bệnh tật, khổ
đau cũng như sự trợ giúp chuyên nghiệp và huynh đệ góp phần vào việc chiến
