<font face="Arial">Phá thai là một trường hợp đặc biệt tự động bị vạ tuyệt
thông không phải chỉ cho người mẹ đã phá thai, mà cả cho người chồng hay các
người bà con đã khiến cho người mẹ phá thai, và nhân viên y tế, tức các bác
sĩ và y tá cộng tác tích cực vào việc phá thai.</font></p>

gồm cả bí tích Hòa Giải, tức bí tích Giải Tội. Vì thế, một người bị vạ tuyệt
thông không thể lãnh nhận bí tích Hòa Giải khi chưa được giải vạ tuyệt
thông.</font></p>

quan được Đức Thánh Cha giao nhiệm vụ phối hợp các hoạt động Năm Thánh Lòng
Thương Xót, Đức Thánh Cha viết:</font></p>

Năm Thánh, được giải tội phá thai cho những người đã gây ra và nếu họ thành
tâm thống hối xin tha thứ. Các linh mục hãy chuẩn bị thi hành công tác quan
trọng này, hãy biết liên kết những lời đón tiếp chân thành với một suy tư
giúp hiểu tội đã phạm và chỉ dẫn con đường hoán cải đích thực để đón nhận sự
tha thứ chân thực và quảng đại của Chúa Cha, Đấng đổi mới mọi sự bằng sự
hiện diện của Ngài.”</font></p>

nhiều lý do đã chọn tham dự thánh lễ tại các nhà thờ điều hành bởi các linh
mục thuộc Huynh Đoàn Thánh Piô X. Năm Thánh Lòng Thương Xót không loại trừ
một ai. Từ các miền khác nhau, một số anh em giám mục nói với tôi về đức tin
và việc thực hành các bí tích tốt đẹp của họ, tuy nhiên họ sống trong một
tình trạng áy náy về mục vụ... Trong khi tìm một giải pháp tái lập sự hiệp
thông trọn vẹn với các linh mục và các vị bề trên của Huynh đoàn, tôi qui
định rằng những tín hữu ấy, trong Năm Thánh Lòng Thương Xót, khi đến lãnh
nhận bí tích Hòa Giải nơi các linh mục thuộc Huynh Đoàn Thánh Piô X, thì họ
