mừng thông báo: Đức Thánh Cha đã chấp thuận lời mời của chúng tôi và sẽ đến
thăm Kenya vào tháng Mười Một”: Đây là thông báo chính thức của các giám mục
Kenya gửi đến dân Chúa tại Kenya, cho biết Đức Thánh Cha Phanxicô sẽ đến
thăm đất nước của họ. Trong chuyến viếng thăm ad limina hồi tháng Tư năm
nay, các giám mục Kenya đã ngỏ lời mời Đức Thánh Cha đến thăm đất nước của
họ.</font></p>

giáo phận Homa Bay và là Chủ tịch Hội đồng Giám mục Kenya, gửi đến Agenzia
Fides, chuyến viếng thăm của Đức Thánh Cha Phanxicô được xem như một chuyến
viếng thăm cấp quốc gia. Các giám mục sẽ hợp tác với chính phủ để bảo đảm
cho chuyến viếng thăm được diễn ra một cách tốt đẹp nhất.</font></p>

viếng thăm của Đức Thánh Cha và “cho công lý và hoà bình đặt nền tảng trên

Một và lưu lại hai ngày. Chương trình gồm có: hội kiến với Tổng thống Uhuru
Kenyatta tại Dinh Tổng thống, cử hành Thánh lễ, gặp gỡ các linh mục và tu
sĩ, viếng thăm các văn phòng của Liên hiệp quốc tại Kenya và các khu ổ chuột
của thủ đô Nairobi.</font></p>

Phanxicô xác nhận trong cuộc gặp gỡ các linh mục tham dự Tĩnh tâm dành cho
các linh mục trên Thế giới lần thứ ba tại Vương cung thánh đường Gioan
Latêranô, hôm thứ Sáu 12-06-2015. Cụ thể, Đức Thánh Cha cho biết ngài sẽ
viếng thăm hai nước Cộng hòa Trung Phi và Uganda vào tháng Mười Một năm nay.
Khi đó, Đức Thánh Cha cũng nói thêm “có thể” ngài sẽ đến Kenya, nhưng chưa
chắc chắn, vì có những khó khăn về mặt tổ chức.</font></td>
