<font face="Arial">Đại Hội Thiếu Nhi Thánh Thể thể giới mừng lễ kỷ niệm 100
năm thành lập Phong Trào được diễn ra từ ngày 4 đến ngày 10 tháng 8 năm 2015
tại Roma. Lần đầu tiên trong lịch sử kể từ khi được thành lập vào năm 1915,
Đại Hội triệu tập được 1.500 thành viên từ 35 quốc gia trên thế giới.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">TNTT được bắt nguồn từ Hội Tông Đồ cầu nguyện (HTĐ-CN) và
được thành lập vào năm 1915 tại Pháp bởi linh mục Albert Bessières, SJ. Sau
đó HTĐ-CN được lan tràn trên thế giới và sang Việt Nam năm 1929. Khi đến
Việt Nam Hội Tông Đồ Cầu Nguyện được đổi tên thành Hội Nghĩa Binh Thánh Thể.
Sau nhiều năm sinh hoạt và để được biến đổi cho thích hợp với hoàn cảnh xã
hội và tuổi trẻ theo thời đại, Hội Nghĩa Binh Thánh Thể được đổi tên thành
Thiếu Nhi Thánh Thể vào năm 1964.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Phong Trào TNTT được lớn mạnh trong cả nước do sự đầy
mạnh của tất cả các Giám Mục địa phận trong nước. Đang trên đà phát triển
phồn thịnh thì biến cố 1975 xảy đển khiến cho Phong Trào bị ngưng hoạt động.
Tuy nhiên Phong Trào không chết nhưng như hạt cải được vùi sâu trong
lòng đất, luôn luân lưu trong giòng máu qúy Cha Tuyên ủy và các
Huynh trưởng, được nẩy mầm và tiếp tục lan tràn qua các trại tị nạn và
sau cùng đến đất Canada, Hoa Kỳ, Pháp, Úc Châu, v.v... theo làn sóng tị
nạn.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Về phương diện tâm linh Phong Trào là cái phao cứu vớt
bao nhiêu trẻ em bị trôi dạt trên biển đời tị nạn và là mái ấm gia đình nuôi
dưỡng các em trẻ trong cuộc sống chia lìa mái ấm gia đình và quê hương.
Phong Trào luôn luôn là mái ấm gia đình nuôi dưỡng và bảo vệ đời sống nhân
bản và đạo đức cho giới trẻ trong thời đại mới.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Nơi nào có cộng đồng Việt Nam là nơi đó có TNTT. Ngay từ
bước đầu khi các nhóm tị nạn bước chân đến Hoa Kỳ, các cộng đoàn bắt đầu gầy
dựng lại Phong Trào TNTT tại các địa phương nhưng chưa được lớn mạnh. Mãi
cho đến năm 1984, dịp Đại Hội Liên Đoàn Công Giáo Viết Nam tại Hoa
Kỳ, Ban Chấp Hành Trung Ương được thành lập tại thành phố New Orleans, tiểu
bang Loussiana, nơi có cộng đồng Công Giáo mạnh nhất thời bấy giờ. Tuy gặp
nhiều khó khăn trong hoản cảnh tị nạn buổi ban đầu, Phong Trào luôn có dấu
chỉ lớn mạnh vì tinh thần hy sinh dấn thân hoạt động của các thành viên kỳ
cựu rất cao độ. Kề từ năm 1984 cho đến nay, Phong Trào luôn trên đà phát
triển không ngừng tuy đường đời trải qua những lúc thăng trầm theo định luật
của cuộc sống. Trong suốt thời gian dài từ 1929 đến 2011, Phong Trào TNTT
Việt Nam sinh hoạt độc lập và không có sự liên lạc với các TNTT trên thế
giới và cũng không một ai nghĩ rằng có TNTT nào khác trên thế giới.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Bỗng dựng năm 2011 Văn Phòng TNTT nhận được lá thư mời từ
Văn Phòng TNTT quốc tế triệu tập Đại Hội TNTT thế giới lần đầu tiên tại nước
Á Căn Đình. Trong dịp đó có 200 thành viên đại diện 30 nước đến tham dự. Tại
Hoa Kỳ có ba linh mục và hai thành viên của Ban Chấp Hành Trung Ương tham
dự. Đó là lần đầu tiên trong lịch sử Phong Trào TNTT Việt Nam được liên kết
với các nước bạn trên thế giới. Cuộc họp tại Á Căn Đình là bước đầu để chuẩn
bị cho Đại Hội TNTT thế giới lần II tại Roma vừa qua.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">TNTT Việt Nam tại Hoa Kỳ đóng góp một phần lớn về mặt
tinh thần trong Đại Hội TNTT thế giới năm 2015 vừa qua. Thành phần đại diện
gồm có 150 Huynh Trưởng và Đoàn Sinh với sự hướng dẫn của Cha Tổng Tuyên Úy
FX Nguyễn Thanh Bình, SVD, Cha Phó Tổng Tuyên Úy Quản Trị Phêrô Nguyễn Trọng
Hiếu, SVD, và Cha Phó Tổng Tuyên Úy Nghiên Huấn FX Trần Anh Vũ, SCJ. Thành
phần đại diện đông nhất trong Đại Hội là nước Ý, gồm 600 tham dự viên. Nếu
không tính nước Ý là nước chủ nhà, TNTT Hoa Kỳ có con số đại diện đông nhất.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Chị Phó Chủ Tịch Quản Trị, Maria Gorreti Hồ Tân Uyên và
anh Phó Chủ Tịch Nghiên Huấn Đaminh Hoàng Công Thái Dương được mời gọi chia
sẻ và dạy khóa về sinh hoạt trong Phong Trào cho nhóm Anh Ngữ. Qua hai
ngày học hỏi và trao đổi với nhau cho thấy TNTT Việt Nam có một lực lượng
hùng hậu và cơ cấu sinh hoạt tổ chức chặt chẽ nhất so với nhiều nước bạn.
TNTT Việt Nam thật sự được lớn mạnh trong nguồn gốc và căn tính của người
TNTT. Các em mang đồng phục chính tể trong các nghi thức khai mạc, kết thúc,
cũng như trong các cuộc hội họp khác. Các nước bạn thiếu hẳn những hình thức
này; họ không mang đồng phục vì họ không có nhiều thành viên và vì thế không
có tổ chức quy mô như TNTT tại Hoa Kỳ. Các em TNTT Việt Nam tham dự các
thánh lễ một cách nghiêm trang cung kính làm cho nhiều Cha Tuyên Úy các
nước bạn gật đầu tỏ vẻ ngưỡng mộ. Thái độ nghiêm trang giữa đám đông cho
thấy các em TNTT Việt Nam được lớn mạnh trong kỷ luật và giáo dục. Điều này
đáng nói lên niềm tự hào về văn hóa truyền thống và lối sống đạo của người
Việt Nam.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Cách sinh hoạt của các nước bạn trong Đại Hội thoải mái
và nhẹ về nghi thức và nghi lễ. Trang phục trong các nghi lễ là quần đùi và
áo thun sát cánh để thoải mái trong thời tiết nóng. Đa số họ sinh ra trong
nền văn hóa giàu âm nhạc và vì thế trong các buổi hội họp họ tạo sự náo
nhiệt qua những bản nhạc vui tươi sống động.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Chương trình Đại Hội gồm có hai ngày học hỏi và được chia
nhóm theo từng ngôn ngữ. Các thành viên có cơ hội thể hiện tình giao hữu và
trao cho nhau tinh thần sống của người TNTT. Rât nhiều nhóm bạn còn chưa
biết gì về TNTT vì họ mới được thành lập. Có một số nước bạn mới tham dự Đại
Hội TNTT lần đầu tiên trong đời và vì thế đối với họ TNTT còn xa lạ và mới
mẻ.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Ngoài hai ngày học hỏi, các tham dự viên có thêm được hai
ngày được các hướng dẫn viên dẫn đi bộ theo các con đường trong thành phố
Roma để tham quan những địa danh và các nhà thờ. Tuy đi đường không tránh
khỏi sự mệt mỏi và khát nước giữa mùa hè tháng Tám của Roma, nhưng tinh thần
phấn khởi vui tươi làm cho cơn mệt nhọc biến tan nhanh chóng. Niềm vui tột
đỉnh trong các chuyến tham quan bên ngoài là ngày diện kiến Đức Thánh Cha.
Ngày đó ai ai cũng phấn khởi vui tươi để mong chờ giây phút gặp gỡ Đức Thánh
Cha vì đây là cơ hội hiếm có trong đời người.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Đêm cuối cùng của Đại Hội là đêm văn hóa. Đại diện các
nước trình diễn những điệu múa dân ca của từng địa phương giúp tham dự viên
cảm nghiệm về sự đa dạng của văn hóa thế giới và từ đó gây mối thân thiện
hơn. Tám em TNTT đoàn Andrê Dũng Lạc Miền Nam tại Houston trình diễn màn múa
“Người Từ Phương Bắc” trong những chiếc áo ba tà màu sắc với nét đẹp văn
hóa Miền Bắc gây được nhiều sự chú ý và ngưỡng mộ của khán giả.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Đêm trình diễn văn hóa cũng là đêm kết thúc năm ngày Đại
Hội. Mọi thành phần tham dự cảm thấy luyến tiếc bùi ngùi trước giờ phút chia
tay. Từng nhóm năm bảy người xúm lại trao cho nhau quà kỷ niệm cá nhân và
những tấm hình selfie thời đại.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Giờ phút sau cùng để lại nhiều hứa hẹn cho lần tới mặc dù
chưa biết sẽ gặp nhau nơi nào. Với kỹ thuật hiện đại như facebook, chắc
chắn các nước sẽ được liên kết với nhau cách chặt chẽ hơn. Mọi người ra về
trong phấn khởi và vui tươi nhưng kèm theo tí bùi ngùi. Đại Hội mừng kỷ một
trăm năm thành lập Phong Trào là một kỷ niệm khắc ghi sâu đậm khó phai tàn
trong đời người Thiếu Nhi Thánh Thể.</font></p>
