	<font face="Arial">Tính đến đầu tháng 8 năm nay, quân khủng bố Hồi Giáo IS 
	đã chiếm được toàn bộ phần phía Đông của Syria, tức là hơn một nửa nước 
	Syria và tiếp tục giành được những chiến thắng vang dội. Quân khủng bố Hồi 
	Giáo IS giờ đây kiểm soát toàn bộ đường biên giới giữa Syria và Iraq.&nbsp;<br>
	<br>
	Trước tình cảnh điêu linh của người dân Syria với 4 triệu người phải di tản 
	ra nước ngoài, 7,600,000 người phải tản cư bên trong Syria, hầu hết các 
	thành phố đều bị tàn phá nặng nề, Đức Giám Mục giáo phận Leiria-Fátima, Bồ 
	Đào Nha, phối hợp với phong trào Blue Army, hay còn gọi là Đạo Binh Xanh, 
	quyết định đưa thánh tượng Đức Mẹ Fatima từ Đền Thánh Fatima ở Bồ Đào Nha 
	sang thủ đô Damascus của Syria.&nbsp;<br>
	<br>
	Bộ ngoại giao Syria hoan nghênh quyết định thể hiện tình liên đới này và cho 
	biết thánh tượng Đức Mẹ Fatima sẽ đến thủ đô Damascus vào ngày 7 tháng Chín 
	tới đây.&nbsp;<br>
	<br>
	Trong thông báo về diễn biến này, Đức Cha António Augusto dos Santos Marto 
	của giáo phận Leiria-Fátima thúc giục Liên Hiệp Quốc và Liên Hiệp Âu Châu 
	“đừng bỏ rơi các nạn nhân của bất khoan dung và chủ nghĩa cực đoan tôn 
	giáo”.&nbsp;<br>
	<br>
	Đức Cha António nói thêm rằng quyết định của ngài là để đáp lại lời mời gọi 
	của các Giám Mục Trung Đông là những người đang phải đau lòng chứng kiến sự 
	tận diệt Kitô Giáo trong vùng.<br>
	<br>
	Cách đây gần 2 năm, theo lời yêu cầu của Đức Thánh Cha Phanxicô, thánh tượng 
	Đức Mẹ Fatima đã được đưa ra khỏi Đền Thánh Fatima và đưa về Roma hôm 12 
	tháng 10 năm 2013 trong nghi thức tái thánh hiến thế giới cho Trái Tim Đức 
	Mẹ được tổ chức vào chiều ngày thứ Bẩy 12 và sáng Chúa Nhật 13 tháng 10 tại 
	quảng trường Thánh Phêrô. Dịp Đại Năm Thánh 2000, thánh tượng Đức Mẹ Fatima 
	cũng đã được đưa về Rôma khi Thánh Giáo Hoàng Gioan Phaolô 2 cử hành nghi 
	thức phó thác thế giới và Giáo Hội cho Đức Mẹ, vào ngày 8 tháng 10 năm 2000 
	tại Quảng trường Thánh Phêrô, trước sự hiện diện của 1,500 Giám Mục thế 
	giới.</font></td>
