<font face="Arial">Tín điều Đức Mẹ Hồn Xác Lên Trời không hẳn là điều đáng
lưu tâm trong tâm thức nhiều người Công Giáo, trong đó có Elizabeth Scalia (xemMary
was a true tabernacle within which the Divinity did continually reside, The
Catholic Answer, 1/7/2015).<br>
<br>
Cô biết Elijah và Enoch từng được triệu về trời, thì việc Đức Maria có được
triệu về trời hay không, đâu có gì quan trọng, đáng phải suy nghĩ?<br>
<br>
<b>Bài sinh lý học</b><br>
<br>
Đến ngày cô tham dự một lớp giải phẫu học và sinh lý học, thì quan điểm trên
đã thay đổi hẳn. Cô được biết chúng ta đã được dựng nên một cách “kỳ diệu và
đáng sợ” biết chừng nào, với những tế bào máu được tạo nên rồi biến đi,
xương và các mô được ôxi hóa và được máu và hơi thở rửa sạch ra sao, tuy
nhiên không điều gì khiến cô lưu ý bằng lúc học về diễn trình microchimerism.
Vừa nghe vị giáo sư trình bầy diễn trình này, Scalia liền kêu lên: “Vậy thì
diễn trình này giải thích được việc Đức Mẹ Hồn Xác Lên Trời rồi!”. <br>
<br>
Nói một cách đơn giản, microchimerism là diễn trình nhờ đó một số lượng nhỏ
tế bào, phát sinh từ một cơ thể khác, có thể sống trong một cơ thể chủ (host
body) mà vẫn khác biệt với cơ thể này. Nơi người, trong diễn trình microchimerism giữa
bào thai và người mẹ (fetomaternal), mọi đứa trẻ đều để lại nơi người mẹ một
phần cực nhỏ của nó. Nghĩa là mọi vụ mang thai, dù có kéo dài tới lúc sinh
nở hay không, đều để lại một lượng nhỏ tế bào nơi cơ thể người mẹ, và các tế
bào này tiếp tục ở lại trong bà mãi mãi. <br>
<br>
Sự hiểu biết trên bỗng cho cô hiểu lý lẽ tại sao của một tín điều mà trước
đây cô coi không hơn không kém một hình thức đạo đức đầy cảm tính, không cần
tìm hiểu suy nghĩ. Bỗng chốc cô thấy mọi lý lẽ đều được giải thích: một
lượng nhỏ tế bào của Chúa Giêsu Kitô ở lại mãi trong Đức Mẹ, suốt cuộc đời
ngài. Trong khi người Công Giáo chúng ta chỉ cảm nghiệm thể xác Chúa Kitô
một cách giới hạn khi lãnh nhận Thánh Thể, thì Đức Maria quả là nhà tạm chân
thực trong đó Thần Tính luôn luôn cư ngụ. <br>
<br>
Trong Sách Thánh Vịnh, ta đọc thấy Đấng Thánh sẽ không hư nát (xem Tv
16:10). Thân xác thần thánh của Chúa Kitô sẽ không hư nát. Từ đó, ta kết
luận: thân xác của Mẹ Người, vì chứa đựng vết tích tí hon Thần Tính (mà phần
tí hon của Thiên Chúa vẫn là Thiên Chúa trọn vẹn) nên sẽ không thể nào hư
nát được. Khoa học quả đã biến thần học thành dễ hiểu vì bỗng nhiên, ta
chẳng còn cần phải phỏng đoán nữa: Lúc Thiếp Ngủ (nói theo kiểu Chính Thống
Giáo Đông Phương), thân xác Đức Mẹ, vì chứa Chúa Kitô trong đó, không thể ở
lại trần thế được; dĩ nhiên, nó phải kết hợp với Chúa Kitô trên thiên đàng. <br>
<br>
<b>Người Lutheran: bỏ qua Thánh Mẫu là điều thiển cận</b><br>
<br>
Graham Glover, một mục sư của Giáo Hội Lutheran, nhân ngày Đức Mẹ Hồn Xác
Lên Trời, đã có một suy nghĩ khác. <br>
<br>
Ông bảo: tuần này lịch phụng vụ của Kitô hữu khắp thế giới dành một ngày đặc
biệt kính Nữ Trinh Diễm Phúc Maria, Mẹ Thiên Chúa. Người Công Giáo Rôma cử
hành Lễ Mông Triệu, người Chính Thống Giáo cử hành Lễ Đức Bà Ngủ, trong khi
người Lutheran cử hành Lễ Thánh Maria Mẹ Chúa Ta và người Anh Giáo cử hành
Lễ Thánh Maria Đồng Trinh. <br>
<br>
Ngày này chắc chắn thích hợp, chính đáng và sinh ích. Sau các ngày lễ và hội
hè mừng Chúa chúng ta, nó là một trong các ngày lễ quan trọng nhất trong năm
của Kitô hữu. Những người theo chân Chúa Giêsu chúng ta thật khôn ngoan khi
dành riêng ngày này, vì Mẹ Chúa Ta quả là diễm phúc và như Luther từng ghi
nhận, ngài là “người đàn bà cao trọng nhất và là viên ngọc cao quí nhất
trong Kitô Giáo sau Chúa Kitô”. Ta không thể nào vinh danh ngài cho đủ. <br>
<br>
Buồn thay, hàng triệu Kitô hữu vẫn để ngày 15 tháng Tám trôi qua mà đến một
cái cúi đầu cũng không có đối với ngài. Ngày này vẫn tiếp tục bị coi là vô
nghĩa đối với biết bao con người đang thờ phượng Chúa Giêsu. Và việc này
không những chỉ đáng buồn mà còn đáng xấu hổ nữa. Quả là một chứng từ bệnh
hoạn cho những ai cho rằng họ yêu mến Chúa Giêsu mà lại dành rất ít tình yêu,
thậm chí không chút nào, cho bình đựng từng đưa Người vào thế gian này. Đây
quả là một dửng dưng đáng trách khi làm ngơ chứng từ rõ rệt của Sách Thánh,
và là một lạc giáo từng bị bác bỏ tại Công Đồng Êphêsô năm 421. Bất cứ ai
quen thuộc với thực hành của Giáo Hội Sơ Khai đều không nên ngạc nhiên trước
việc sùng kính của Kitô hữu đối với Đức Maria, vì Giáo Hội khắp thế giới đã
lập ra truyền thống phổ quát sùng kính ngài cả nhiều thế kỷ trước đó.<br>
<br>
Đâu có sao? một số Kitô hữu nói thế. Nếu Đức Maria bị lãng quên, thì cũng
đâu có sao! Ngài đâu phải Cứu Chúa của ta. Tôn vinh Chúa Kitô là làm đủ
những gì Thiên Chúa yêu cầu ta rồi. Chỉ cần chạy lại với Con của ngài và với
người này mà thôi, ta đã có đủ những gì cần có để bảo đảm được tha tội và
thừa hưởng cuộc sống đời đời. <br>
<br>
Nói như thế đúng một phần, nhưng thiển cận. Ta không thể hiểu cuộc đời Chúa

lịch sử cứu rỗi. Tiếng “Xin Vâng” của ngài ngỏ với Tổng Lãnh Thiên Thần
chính là tiếng “Xin Vâng” đã đem Thiên Chúa Ở Cùng Chúng Ta tới cho chúng
