<font face="Arial">Liên Minh Phò Sự Sống tại Hoa Kỳ kêu gọi một ngày biểu
tình toàn quốc vì sự sống trước các trụ sở của tổ chức Planned Parenthood,
một tổ chức phò phá thai, vào cuối tuần này ngày 22 tháng 8 năm 2015, từ 9
giờ sáng đến 11 giờ sáng theo giờ địa phương. <br>
<br>
Trong khoảng vài tháng qua, một loạt video của tổ chức phi lợi nhuận Center
for Medical Progress, một tổ chức phò sự sống , đã truyền tải các bằng chứng
về việc tổ chức Planned Parenthood đang thực hiện các hoạt động bán các phần
thân thể của các thai nhi bị phá tại Hoa Kỳ:<br>

Điều này gây xôn xao dư luận trong suốt thời gian qua. Đức Hồng Y Seán
O’Malley, Tổng Giám Mục giáo phận Boston, Chủ tịch Ủy ban Bảo Vệ Sự Sống của
Hội Đồng Giám mục Hoa Kỳ đã mạnh mẽ lên tiếng và vào ngày mùng 3 tháng 8 năm
2015, đã tiếp tục gửi một bức thư kêu gọi các thượng nghị sỹ hỗ trợ dự luật
S.1181, một dự luật ngăn chặn việc Liên Bang tài trợ cho tổ chức phá thai
Planned Parenthood, do thượng nghị sỹ Joni Ernt đề xướng. <br>

Liên minh các nhóm bảo vệ sự sống cho biết trên trang web của mình: Mục tiêu
của Liên Minh Phò Sự Sống nhằm nâng cao nhận thức tính phi đạo đức và ngay
cả bất hợp pháp của tổ chức Planned Parenthood là nơi đang giết hại và thu
lợi nhuận từ các bộ phận thai nhi. Cũng theo Liên Minh Bảo Vệ Sự Sống: Việc
biểu tình này cũng nhằm gây sức ép lên các phương tiện truyền thông địa
phương và quốc gia, để trình bày sự thật về tổ chức Planned Parenthood, và
các viên chức chính phủ phải ngừng tài trợ cho tổ chức này. <br>
<br>
Hiện nay các nhóm bảo vệ sự sống toàn quốc Hoa Kỳ đang chuẩn bị những công
tác cần thiết cho ngày biểu tình. Tại thành phố San Jose, nhóm Bảo Vệ Sự
Sống và 40 Ngày Cầu Nguyện cho Sự Sống đã chọn chủ đề cho ngày biểu tình là,
“ Liên Tôn Xuống Đường vì Sự Sống”. Theo một email gửi ra từ cô Kauren, một
trong những người tổ chức sự kiện này tại San Jose cho biết: “ Chúng tôi
muốn truyền thông điệp của yêu thương và sự chữa lành cho những ai đã bị tổn
thưởng bởi việc phá thai và nâng cao nhận biết thông tin mới nhất về hành vi
lợi dụng thai nhi của Planned Parenthood mà tổ chức Center for Medical
Progress đã phô bày trước công luận.” <br>

Điểm đặc biệt của phong trào bảo vệ sự sống trong thời gian qua là sự tham
gia đông đảo và tích cực của giới trẻ. Theo chị Hiền, một thành viên trẻ
trong phong trào bảo vệ sự sống tại San Jose bày tỏ cảm nghĩ của mình: “Là
người Công Giáo chúng ta phải cầu nguyện và dâng nhiều hy sinh. Chúng ta
cùng cần đứng lên và chủ động để bảo vệ các thai nhi là những đứa trẻ không
có tiếng nói và không có khả năng tự vệ.”<br>
<br>
Cũng xin nhắc lại, từ khi Tối Cao Pháp Viện Hoa Kỳ ra phán quyết cho phép
phá thai vào 1974, đã có tới khoảng 56 triệu thai nhi bị giết chết. Thảm
trạng này đã khiến hàng trăm ngàn người xuống đường hằng năm để phán kháng
và đòi quyền sống cho các thai nhi. <br>
