trong đó người Công Giáo chiếm 24% dân số. Người Hồi Giáo chỉ chiếm 11% tại
quốc gia. Tuy nhiên, trong thời gian qua, nhiều nhóm cực đoan Hồi Giáo đã
muốn biến Kenya thành một quốc gia Hồi Giáo. Lúc 5:30 sáng ngày thứ Năm 2

trương nhằm thiết lập một nhà nước Hồi Giáo theo luật Sharia tại Kenya đã
gây ra cuộc thảm sát tại Đại Học Garissa, cách thủ đô Nairobi của Kenya
350km về hướng Đông Bắc và cách biên giới với Somali 150km. 148 sinh viên bị
giết chết và 79 sinh viên khác bị thương nặng.</font></p>

nhiều năm tại nước này cùng với Abdirahim Abdullahi, đã từng tốt nghiệp Luật
Khoa tại đại học Nairobi vào năm 2013 và là con trai của tỉnh trưởng tỉnh
Mandera, ở phía Bắc Kenya, giáp biên giới với Kenya đã dẫn đường cho bọn
khủng bố Al-Shabaab từ Somali đột nhập vào Kenya gây ra cuộc thảm sát này.
Abdirahim Abdullahi bị bắn chết cùng với 3 tên khủng bố khác trong khi
Mohamed Mohamud nhanh chân tẩu thoát. Chính phủ trao giải thưởng lên đến
215,000 Mỹ Kim cho ai chỉ điểm dẫn đến việc bắt sống hay giết chết y nhưng
đến nay vẫn chưa biết tông tích tên khủng bố này.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Cuộc xung đột tại Cộng Hòa Trung Phi đã bùng lên từ ngày
10 tháng 12 năm 2012 giữa quân đội nước này và phiến quân Hồi Giáo Séléka.
Do các yếu tố bất ngờ, đến cuối tháng 12 năm 2012, quân Hồi Giáo đã chiếm
được nhiều thành phố và ngày 24 tháng Ba năm 2013 chiếm được thủ đô Bangui.
Lãnh đạo phiến quân là Michel Djotodia được đưa lên làm tổng thống.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Quân Hồi Giáo Séléka bắt tay ngay vào việc cướp bóc, hãm
hiếp, và thủ tiêu các tín hữu Kitô. Nhóm Hồi Giáo cực đoan này thực hiện âm
mưu Hồi Giáo hóa đất nước bằng một cuộc diệt chủng người Kitô Giáo trên một
quy mô lớn đến mức chính Michel Djotodia đã bất ngờ tuyên bố từ chức và đào
vong ở nước ngoài hôm 10 tháng Giêng năm 2014 để tránh bị bắt đưa ra trước
tòa án quốc tế về tội ác chống nhân loại.</font></p>

mất quyền kiểm soát trên hầu hết các thành phố lớn tại Cộng Hòa Trung Phi và
phải rút chạy sang Chad. Tuy nhiên, nhóm Hồi Giáo cực đoan này nhận được
tăng viện cả về khí tài chiến tranh lẫn nhân sự và đã có khả năng trở lại
gây chiến ngay tại thủ đô Cộng Hòa Trung Phi.</font></td>
