<font face="Arial">VATICAN. ĐTC cảm tạ Thiên Chúa vì đã ban thánh Gioan
Bosco như một hồng ân cho Giáo Hội và ngài khích lệ các con cái thánh nhân
sống những đặc tính thiết yếu trong gia sản tinh thần của thánh Bosco.<br>

Trên đây là nội dung thư ĐTC gửi đại gia đình dòng Salesien, qua trung gian
cha Ángel Fernandez Artime, Bề trên Tổng quyền dòng Salesien Don Bosco, nhân
dịp kỷ niệm 200 năm sinh nhật của thánh Tổ Phụ.<br>
<br>
Thư của ĐTC đề ngày 24-6-2015 và được công bố hôm 16-7-2015 tại Roma, qua đó
ngài viết: ”Chúng ta có thể tóm tắt những khía cạnh nổi bật của thánh Bosco:
Người sống sự tận hiến hoàn toàn cho Thiên Chúa với niềm hăng say đối với
phần rỗi các linh hồn và thực thi lòng trung thành với Thiên Chúa và giới
trẻ trong cùng một cử chỉ yêu thương. Những thái độ này khiến thánh nhân ”đi
ra ngoài” và thực hiện những quyết định can đảm: chọn lựa tận tụy săn sóc
giới trẻ nghèo, với ý hướng thực thi một phong trào rộng lớn của người nghèo
cho người nghèo; và thánh nhân chọn lựa nới rộng việc phục vụ ấy vượt lên
trên các ranh giới ngôn ngữ, chủng tộc, văn hóa và tôn giáo, nhờ lòng hăng
say truyền giáo không biết mệt mỏi”.<br>

ĐTC cũng nhận xét rằng: ”Ngày nay gia đình dòng Salesien cũng đang cởi mở
hướng về những biên cương mới trong lãnh vực giáo dục và truyền giáo, tiến
bước trên những con đường các phương tiện truyền thông xã hội mới mẻ và con
đường giáo dục liên văn hóa nơi các dân tộc thuộc các tôn giáo khác nhau,
hoặc tại các nước đang trên đường phát triển, hoặc tại những nơi di dân.
Những thách đố ở Torino hồi thế kỷ thứ 19 nay đang mặc chiều kích hoàn cầu,
như sự tôn thờ tiền bạc, bất công sinh ra bạo lực, chế độ thực dân ý thức hệ
và những thách đố văn hóa gắn liền với bối cảnh thành thị. Một số khía cạnh
có liên hệ trực tiếp đối với thế hệ người trẻ, như sự phổ biến Internet, và
qua đó đang gọi hỏi các con cái nam nữ của Thánh Bosco: anh chị em được kêu
gọi làm việc, cứu xét những nguồn năng lực mà Chúa Thánh Linh khơi dậy trong
hoàn cảnh khủng hoảng, cùng với những vết thương”.<br>

ĐTC nhắc nhở cho gia đình dòng Salesien hãy làm cho tinh thần sáng tạo theo
đoàn sủng của mình được tái triển nở trong và ngoài các cơ sở giáo dục của
dòng, với lòng tận tụy tông đồ, đặt mình trên những con đường của người trẻ,
nhất là những người trẻ ở các khu vực ngoại ô.<br>

Sau cùng, ĐTC kết luận rằng ”xin Thánh Bosco giúp anh chị em không làm cho
những khát vọng sâu xa của người trẻ bị thất vọng: nhu cầu sống, cởi mở, vui
tươi, tự do, tương lai, ước muốn cộng tác vào công trình xây dựng một thế
giới công bằng và huynh đệ hơn, vào việc phát triển mọi dân tộc, bảo vệ
thiên nhiên và các môi trường của đời sống” (SD 16-7-2015)</font></td>
