<font face="Arial">Hằng trăm ngàn tín hữu đã tham dự Thánh Lễ do ĐTC
Phanxicô cử hành tại Quảng trường trước Đền Thánh Đức Mẹ Caacupé, bổn mạng
của Paraguay sáng ngày 11-7-2015.<br>
<br>
Caacupé trong thổ ngữ guaraní của dân địa phương có nghĩa là ”đằng sau núi”.
Đây là một thị trấn có hơn 19 ngàn dân cư, chung quanh là những ngọn đồi cây
xanh, từ đó người ta có thể thấy hồ Ypacaraí. Caacupé được coi là thủ đô
tinh thần của Paraguay và nổi tiếng với đại lễ hàng năm, 8-12, lễ kính Đức
Mẹ Phép lạ. Tượng ảnh Đức Mẹ tại đây do một tín hữu thổ dân tân tòng tên là
José tạc hồi thế kỷ 16 và tượng được cứu thoát lạ lùng khỏi một trận lụt lớn,
và nhiều tín hữu được ơn lạ nhờ cầu nguyện trước tượng ảnh, kể cả phép lạ
thổ dân José được cứu thoát khỏi sự bách hại của các bộ lạc thù nghịch với
Kitô giáo.<br>
<br>
Ở trung tâm thành Caacupé có Vương cung thánh đường Đức Mẹ Vô Nhiễm và hằng
năm có hơn 200 ngàn tín hữu đến hành hương nhân lễ kính Đức Mẹ. Cạnh thánh
đường có một nhà nguyện cổ kính nguyên thủy và một giếng Đức Mẹ, theo lưu
truyền, nước giếng có năng lực chữa bệnh.<br>
<br>
ĐTC từ bệnh viện ở khu phố San Lorenzo, Asunción đến Đền thánh lúc qua 10
giờ sáng. Gần Đền Thánh có đông đảo các tín hữu đứng hai bên đường chào đón
ngài.<br>
<br>
Đến nơi, ĐTC đã vào bên trong thánh đường để viếng Mình Thánh Chúa và cầu
nguyện trong thinh lặng trước tượng Đức Mẹ. Ngài dâng tặng Đức Mẹ một đóa
hoa hồng mầu trắng. Hiện diện trong thánh đường có hàng ngàn tín hữu, trong
đó có một số nữ tu chiêm niệm.<br>
<br>
Tại quảng trường trước Đền thánh có hàng trăm ngàn tín hữu tụ tập để dự lễ
với ĐTC, không kể đông đảo các tín hữu ở khu vực gần đó. Có nhiều thổ dân
thuộc các bộ lạc xa xăm chèo thuyền về đây để tham dự thánh lễ và gặp gỡ ĐTC
trong dịp hiếm có này. Nhiều người đến từ hôm trước và ngủ lại để dự lễ, do
ĐTC cử hành bắt đầu từ lúc 10 giờ 35, và kính Đức Mẹ Vô Nhiễm nguyên tội.
Ngoài ra cũng có hàng chục ngàn tín hữu từ Argentina láng giềng đến dự lễ.<br>
<br>
Tại lễ đài bên ngoài, cạnh bàn thờ cũng có một bản sao tượng Đức Mẹ Caacupè.<br>
<br>
Đồng tế với ĐTC có 23 GM Paraguay và hơn 20 GM khách, 24 LM của giáo phận
Caacupé và nhiều linh mục thuộc các giáo phận khác.<br>
<br>
<b>Bài giảng của ĐTC</b><br>
<br>
Trong bài giảng thánh lễ, ĐTC nhắc nhở cho các tín hữu rằng Đền thánh này là
nhà của tất cả các tín hữu. Đây là nơi lễ hội, gặp gỡ, gia đình, là nơi ta
đến xin ơn tha thứ để bắt đầu lại. Tại đó ta mang cuộc sống cụ thể và đổi
mới năng lực để sống niềm vui Phúc Âm. Đền thánh Đức Mẹ Caacupé là thành
phần sinh tử của dân tộc Paraguay. Mẹ Maria đã thưa ”xin vâng” đối với
chương trình, đối với thánh ý Thiên Chúa. Đó là một lời thưa ”xin vâng”
không dễ dàng, vì không làm cho Mẹ đầy đặc ân, nhưng như cụ già Simeon nói
với Mẹ, một lưỡi gươm sẽ đâm thâu qua tâm hồn Mẹ.<br>
<br>
ĐTC nhận xét rằng: ”Chúng ta tìm thấy nơi Đức Maria là một người Mẹ đích
thực, giúp chúng ta giữ cho niềm tin và hy vọng được sinh động giữa những
hoàn cảnh phức tạp. Mẹ là một phụ nữ đầy tin tưởng, là Mẹ Giáo Hội, là người
đã tin. Cuộc sống của Mẹ là bằng chứng cho thấy Thiên Chúa không làm cho
chúng ta thất vọng, không bỏ rơi Dân của Chúa, cả khi có những lúc hoặc tình
trạng dường như Chúa vắng bóng.<br>
<br>
ĐTC nhắc lại 3 giai đoạn khó khăn trong cuộc đời của Mẹ Maria.<br>
<br>
1. Trước tiên là khi Chúa Giêsu sinh ra. ”Không có chỗ cho họ trong nhà trọ”
(Lc 2.7). Họ không có nhà, không có nơi để đón tiếp người con sinh ra. Và
cũng có gia đình nào thân cận, thật là lẻ loi. Nơi duy nhất họ tìm được là
hang súc vật.<br>
<br>
2. Thứ hai là cuộc chạy trốn sang Ai Cập. Thánh gia phải ra đi, phải lưu
lạc. Tại đó, các ngài không những chẳng có chỗ, chẳng có gia đình, nhưng cả
sinh mạng của các ngài cũng bị lâm nguy. Thánh gia phải lên đường, đến một
miền đất lạ. Các ngài phải chạy trốn vì vị ghen tương và ham hố quyền lực
của bạo chúa.<br>
<br>
3. Sau cùng là cái chết của Chúa Con trên thập giá. Không có tình trạng nào
khó khăn hơn đối với một bà mẹ tháp tùng cái chết của một người con. Chúng
ta thấy Mẹ Maria dưới chân thập giá, như mọi người mẹ, nhưng kiên vững, tháp
tùng con cho đến cái chết tột cùng, cái chết trên thập giá. Và Mẹ liên kết
và nâng đỡ tất cả các môn đệ.<br>
<br>
Tiếp tục bài giảng, ĐTC nhấn mạnh rằng Mẹ Maria đã muốn ở lại giữa dân của
Mẹ, ở lại với con cái, với gia đình mình, luôn bước theo Chúa Giêsu, từ phía
đám đông. Mẹ không có chương trình riêng, không đến để nói với chúng ta điều
gì mới, ngoại trừ niềm tin của Mẹ tháp tùng niềm tin của chúng ta. Chính Mẹ
đã và đang ở lại trong các nhà thương, các trường học, các gia cư của chúng
ta. Mẹ đã và đang ở lại với chúng ta trong công việc và trong hành trình. Mẹ
đã và đang ở lại nơi bàn ăn của mỗi gia đình. Mẹ đã và đang ở lại trong sự
hình thành tổ quốc, biến chúng ta thành một dân nước. Luôn luôn với một sự
hiện diện kín đáo và âm thầm: trong cái nhìn của một tượng ảnh, một tấm ảnh
nhỏ, một ảnh đeo. Dưới dấu hiệu của một xâu chuỗi mân côi, chúng ta biết
mình không lẻ loi.<br>

Từ những ý tưởng trên đây, ĐTC đặc biệt nhắc đến các phụ nữ và các bà mẹ
Paraguay, với lòng can đảm và xả thân, họ đã biết phục hồi đất nước bị tàn
phá, bị sụp đổ vì chiến tranh. Ngài nói:<br>

”Chị em có ký ức, có gia sản được lưu truyền của những bà mẹ đã tái tạo cuộc
sống, niềm tin, phẩm giá của dân tộc chị em. Như Mẹ Maria, chị em đã sống
những những hoàn cảnh rất khó khăn, mà cứ theo lý luận thông thường, nó trái
ngược với mọi niềm tin. Như Mẹ Maria, chị em được thúc đẩy và nâng đỡ nhờ
tấm gương của Mẹ, chị em đã tiếp tục tin, cả khi không có gì để hy vọng nữa
(Rm 4,18). ”Chị em đã và đang tìm được sức mạnh để không bỏ mặc đất nước này
trong sự hỗn độn”.<br>

Sau cùng, ĐTC kêu gọi dân chúng đừng mất ký ức, đừng mất căn cội, và bao
nhiêu chứng ta, hãy sống niềm tin sinh động, niềm tin trở thành sự sống, và
một cuộc sống trở thành hy vọng, niềm hy vọng đưa chúng ta tiến bước trong
tình bác ái.<br>

Cuối thánh lễ, ĐTC đã đọc kinh tái phó thác dân nước Paraguay cho sự bảo trợ
của Đức Mẹ. Ngày 18-5 năm 1988, khi viếng thăm Paraguay và cử hành thánh lễ
tại đây, thánh Gioan Phaolô 2 Giáo Hoàng cũng đã chủ sự nghi thức phó thác
Paraguay cho Đức Mẹ.</font></td>
