với hàng chục ngàn tín hữu và du khách hành hương trong buổi đọc kinh Truyền
Tin trưa Chúa Nhật hôm qua. Mở đầu bài huấn dụ ngài nói: Hôm nay tại nhiều
quốc gia trong đó có Italia, người ta mừng lễ trọng Mình và Máu cực thánh
Chúa Kitô, hay theo kiểu nói latinh quen biết nhất là Corpus Domini lễ Mình
Chúa.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Phúc Âm giới thiệu trình thuật việc thành lập Thánh Thể,
do Chúa Giêsu thành toàn trong Bữa Tiệc Ly, tại Nhà Tiệc Ly ở Giêrusalem.
Hôm trước ngày chết cứu độ trên thập giá, Ngài đã thực hiện trước điều Ngài
đã nói: “Ta là bánh hằng sống, từ trời xuống. Ai ăn bánh này sẽ sống đời đời
và bánh Ta sẽ ban là thịt Ta cho sự sống của trần gian… Ai ăn thịt và uống
máu Ta thì ở trong Ta và Ta ở trong người ấy” (Ga 6,14-22). Chúa Giêsu cầm
lấy bánh trong tay và nói: “Hãy nhận lấy, này là mình Thầy” (Mc 14,22). ĐTC
giải thích lời nói và cử chỉ của Chúa Giêsu như sau:</font></p>

vụ không còn là nhiệm vụ đơn sơ nuôi thân xác nữa, mà là nhiệm vụ khiến cho
Con Người của Ngài hiện diện giữa cộng đoàn tín hữu.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Bữa Tiệc Ly diễn tả điểm tới của toàn cuộc sống Chúa
Kitô. Nó không chỉ là việc thực hiện trước hiến tế của Ngài sẽ thành toàn
trên thập giá, nhưng cũng là tổng hợp của một cuộc sống hiến dâng cho ơn cứu
rỗi của toàn nhân loại. Vì thế khẳng định rằng Chúa Giêsu hiện diện trong
Thánh Thể thì không đủ, mà cần phải trông thấy trong đó sự hiện diện của một
cuộc sống cho đi và tham dự vào đó nữa. Khi chúng ta cầm và ăn Bánh ấy,
chúng ta được sáp nhập vào sự sống của Chúa Giêsu, chúng ta bước vào sự hiệp
thông với Ngài, chúng ta dấn thân hiện thực sự hiệp thông giữa chúng ta, để
biến dổi cuộc sống chúng ta thành quà tặng, nhất là cho người nghèo.</font></p>

với cuộc sống. Chúa Kitô dưỡng nuôi chúng ta dưới hình bánh và rượu cũng

trường học của tình bác ái và liên đới. Ai nuôi mình bằng Bánh của Chúa Kitô
thì không thể thờ ơ trước biết bao người không có bánh ăn hằng ngày. Và ngày
nay chúng ta biết đây là một vấn đề ngày càng trầm trọng hơn.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Sau Kinh Truyền Tin ĐTC đã cám ơn tín hữu giăng băng rôn
chào mừng ngài từ Sarajevo trở về. Ngài nhắc lại chuyến viếng thăm của ngài
tại Sarajevo bên Bosnia Erzegovina, như là người hành hương của hòa bình và
niềm hy vọng. Ngài nói: Trong nhiều thế kỷ vùng đất này đã là nơi sinh sống
giữa các dân tộc và các tôn giáo, đến độ nó được gọi là “Giêrusalem của tây
phương”. Trong quá khứ mới đây, nó đã trở thành biểu tượng các tàn phá của
chiến tranh. Giờ đây đang có một tiến trình hòa giải và nhất là chính vì thế
mà tôi đã đi để khích lệ con đường chung sống hòa bình này giữa các dân tộc
khác nhau. Nó là một con đường mệt nhọc, khó khăn, nhưng có thể. Họ đang làm
tốt điều này.</font></p>

ta hãy nghĩ tới tình yêu của Ngài, Ngài đã yêu thương chúng ta như thế nào!
Trong tim Ngài là tất cả tình yêu ấy. Thứ sáu tới cũng là Ngày thế giới
chống tệ nạn trẻ em lao động. Có biết bao nhiêu trẻ em trên thế giới không
được tự do vui chơi, đến trường học và kết cục bị khai thác bóc lột như nhân
công. Tôi cầu mong cộng đồng thế giới mau chóng dấn thân để thăng tiến việc
thực sự thừa nhận các quyền của trẻ em.</font></p>
