kết thúc 2 ngày viếng thăm tại tổng giáo phận Torino, cách Roma khoảng 600

<font face="Arial">Sau một ngày Chúa Nhật với những hoạt động khẩn trương,
sáng thứ hai 22-6-2015, ĐTC chỉ có một sinh hoạt công cộng: ngài từ tòa TGM
Torino đến viếng thăm Đền thờ của Giáo Hội Tin Lành Valdese cũng tại thành
phố này. Đây là lần đầu tiên trong lịch sử một vị Giáo Hoàng đến thăm và gặp
gỡ cộng đoàn Tin Lành bé nhỏ này.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Cộng đoàn Tin Lành Valdese do một thương gia ở thành Lyon
bên Pháp, ông Pierre Valdes, sáng lập. Trong thời trung cổ, những tín đồ
Valdese bị Công Giáo coi là những kẻ rối đạo và bách hại. Hiện nay tại
Italia chỉ có khoảng 30 ngàn tín hữu Tin Lành Valdese, hợp chung với Giáo
Hội Tin Lành Methodist. Đền thờ lớn nhất của Cộng đoàn này là ở thành Torino,
vì tại đây có đông đảo tín hữu nhất.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Đến nơi vào lúc gần 9 giờ, ĐTC đã được Mục Sư Eugenio
Bernardini, Thủ lãnh Hội đồng lãnh đạo của Giáo Hội, cùng với Chủ tịch Hội
đồng công tọa và Mục Sư quản đốc đền thờ, nữ phó tế Alessandra Trotta, đại
diện cộng đoàn Tin Lành Mathodist tiếp đón, và hướng dẫn vào Đền thờ. Thánh
đường đông chật với khoảng 1 ngàn tín hữu, trong đó cũng có nhiều đại diện
của các Giáo Hội Tin Lành khác như Luther, Baptist, Cơ đốc Phục Lâm, và Đạo
binh cứu độ.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Thánh đường không có bàn thờ, chỉ có bục giảng. ĐTC và
các vị Mục Sư ngồi ở gian cung thánh. Trong lời chào mừng ngài, Mục Sư
Bernardini đã gọi ĐTC là người anh trong Chúa Kitô và khẳng định rằng ”Khi
bước vào Đền thờ thành, Ngài đã bước qua một ngưỡng cửa lịch sử, ngưỡng cửa
của một bức tường được dựng lên cách đây hơn 8 thế kỹ khi phong trào Valdese
bị cáo là rối đạo và bị tuyệt thông với Giáo Hội Roma. Đâu là tội của người
Valdese? Tội của họ là một phong trào loan báo Tin Mừng bình dân, do giáo
dân thực hiện, qua việc rao giảng lưu động rút từ Kinh Thánh, được đọc và
giải thích trong ngôn ngữ của dân chúng.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Mục sư Bernardini cũng nói đến sự cộng tác giữa Liên hiệp
Tin Lành Valdese và Methodist với Giáo Hội Roma đồng thời liệt kê một số vấn
đề có thể thực hiện chung hoặc giải quyết. Mục sư cho rằng cần phải vượt qua
giáo huấn của Công đồng chung Vatican 2 phân biệt các ”Giáo Hội” và các Cộng
đoàn Giáo Hội. Theo giáo huấn của Công đồng các Giáo Hội Tin Lành không phải

<font face="Arial">”Được khích lệ vì những bước tiến đó, chúng ta được kêu
gọi cùng nhau tiến bước. Một lãnh vực đang được mở ra trong đó có nhiều cơ
hội cộng tác giữa người Valdese và Công Giáo, đó là việc loan báo Tin Mừng.
Với ý thức rằng Chúa đã và luôn đi trước chúng ta trong tình yêu thương (Xc
1 Ga 4,10), chúng ta hãy cùng nhau đi gặp những người nam nữ ngày nay, nhiều
khi rất đãng trí và dửng dưng, để thông truyền cho họ con tim của Phúc Âm,
nghĩa là ”vẻ đẹp của tình thương cứu độ của Thiên Chúa được biểu lộ trong
Chúa Giêsu Kitô đã chịu chết và sống lại” (Ev. g. 36).</font></p>

đã tặng ngài bản sao cuốn Kinh Thánh có từ thế kỷ 16 do Phong trào Tin Lành
cải cách ấn hành ở Genève. Còn ngài thì tặng các vị lãnh đạo mề đay Giáo
Hoàng của ngài.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Chúa Nhật 21-6 vừa qua, ĐTC cũng đã đến viếng nhà thờ
Thánh Nữ Têrêsa ở Torino, nơi mà vào năm 1907 ông nội của ngài là Giovanni
Bergolio thành hôn với bà nội là Rosa Vassallo, cũng tại đây, năm sau đó,
thân phụ của ngài là Mario chịu phép rửa tội. Phòng báo chí Tòa Thánh nói
rằng, qua cử chỉ này, ĐTC muốn tái khẳng định giá trị của gia đình. Và tại
thánh đường đó ngài đặc biệt cầu nguyện cho Thượng HĐGM thế giới vào tháng
10 năm nay về gia đình.</font></p>
