<font face="Arial">Đức Hồng Y Robert Sarah, Tổng Trưởng Thánh Bộ Phụng Tự và
Kỷ Luật Bí Tích, trong một bài viết đăng trên tờ Quan Sát Viên Rôma số ra
ngày 12 tháng 6, đã gọi Hiến Chế về Phụng Vụ Thánh do Đức Giáo Hoàng Phaolô
Đệ Lục ban hành ngày 4 tháng 12 năm 1963 là một “Magna Carta” – (Đại Hiến
Chương) về Phụng Vụ; và kêu gọi việc áp dụng trung thành hơn với các văn bản
của Hiến Chế này. Ngài than thở rằng đã có những hiểu nhầm liên quan đến
giáo huấn “tham gia tích cực” và đề nghị có thêm một phụ lục trong Sách Lễ
Rôma nhằm thể hiện tốt hơn sự liên tục giữa các hình thức ngoại thường và
bình thường của Thánh Lễ.</font></p>

của Chúa Kitô. Nếu nguyên tắc quan trọng này không được tiếp nhận trong đức
tin, có khả năng là phụng vụ trở thành một công việc của loài người, một cử
hành về chính mình của cộng đồng.”</font></p>

tránh những mơ hồ. Chẳng hạn như sự tham gia tích cực (participatio
actuosa), không nên được hiểu như là sự cần thiết phải làm một điều gì đó.
Về điểm này giáo huấn của Công Đồng thường bị bóp méo. Sự tham gia tích cực
trong Phụng Vụ phải được hiểu là để cho Chúa Kitô dẫn dắt chúng ta và liên
kết chúng ta với hy tế của Ngài.</font></p>

“luôn bận rộn” và Thánh Lễ phải được cử hành thật “vui nhộn”.</font></p>

Thiên Chúa. Người ta thường quên rằng sự im lặng thiêng liêng là một trong
những phương tiện được Công Đồng đề ra để khuyến khích các tín hữu tham gia
vào Phụng Vụ.”</font></p>
