<font face="Arial">Thánh Maria Cristina của Mẹ Vô Nhiễm Nguyên Tội (tục danh
là Adelaide Brando) sinh tại thành phố Naples, bên Ý vào ngày 1 tháng 5 năm
1856, là con gái của ông Brando Giuseppe Giovanni và bà Concetta Marrazzo,
và được rửa tội trong cùng ngày sinh tại Nhà thờ Thánh Liborio. Chị đã rước
được rước lễ lần đầu vào ngày 08 tháng 12 năm 1864 và vào ngày 25 tháng 12
năm 1868 lúc chỉ mười hai tuổi, chị đã khấn trọn đời đồng trinh. Mong mỏi
của chị là trở thành một "nạn nhân" hoàn toàn tận hiến cho Chúa, cũng như
một nữ tu dòng Reparatrix [Sœurs de Marie Reparatrice – dòng chiêm niệm và
truyền giáo]. Chị cảm thấy ơn gọi đời sống thánh hiến và bày tỏ mong muốn

Michelangelo Longo da Marigliano. Ngày 22 Tháng Mười Một 1884 theo lời mời
của Thị Trưởng thành phố Casoria là Canon Domenico Maglione (anh trai của
Đức Hồng Y Luigi Maglione, Bộ trưởng Ngoại giao thời Đức Giáo Hoàng Piô
XII), chị Maria Cristina Brando chuyển đến cơ sở Maglione tại Casoria với
chị em của mình, và sau đó, đến Nhà Mẹ hiện nay tại Via G. D'Anna, nơi chị
đã xây dựng một ngôi đền tráng lệ theo phong cách tân Gothic để kính Mình

Maria hiện ra với chị lần đầu tiên. Đúng một năm sau, lại xảy ra một cuộc
hiện ra lần thứ hai, và Đức Mẹ yêu cầu chị khởi đầu một cộng đoàn các nữ tu
mới được gọi là Hội Dòng Rất Thánh Mân Côi. Tháng 7 năm 1880, một số "Nữ Tử
Đức Mẹ" còn trẻ, dưới sự hướng dẫn của Cha Tannous, bắt đầu sống cuộc sống
cộng đoàn. Thể theo ý muốn của Đức Mẹ, cộng đoàn mới này được gọi là "Dòng

ra trong một gia đình Công Giáo người Hy Lạp tại làng Ibellin thuộc miền

trù sẽ được tiến hành khi chị lên 12 tuổi. Để hủy bỏ việc hôn nhân này chị
cắt mái tóc của mình, khiến cho hai vợ chồng người chú nổi trận lôi đình
giam cầm chị như một nô lệ làm công việc nhà. Biết được sự thống khổ mà hai
vợ chồng người chú giáng xuống chị, một người hầu trước đây trong gia đình
xúi chị từ bỏ đức tin của mình. Maria ngay lập tức trả lời: "Tôi là một
người con gái của Giáo Hội Công Giáo La Mã Tông truyền." Người hầu tức giận
chém mạnh một nhát dao bầu vào cổ họng chị, sau đó bọc chị trong một tấm mền
và quăng ra đường cho chết.</font></p>

bởi một nữ tu mặc áo màu xanh - Mariam biết đấy chính là Đức Mẹ - Đấng đã
tiên báo về tương lai của mình. Sau khi vết thương phục hồi, chị lang thang
làm người ở cho các gia đình tại Alexandria, Giêrusalem và Beirut trong vòng
13 năm. Năm 1862, chị cùng gia đình Naggiar chuyển đến Marseilles, nơi chị
nhận ra ơn gọi đời sống thánh hiến. Năm 1865, cô gia nhập Dòng Nữ Tu Thánh
Giuse. Nhưng Dòng này đã không cho chị khấn trọn vì họ sợ hãi những hiện
tượng bất thường xung quanh Mariam, mà chị nghĩ chỉ là một chứng bệnh, chẳng
hạn như xuất thần, thị kiến, và ngày 29 Tháng Ba 1867 lại xuất hiện năm dấu
thánh. Ngày 14 Tháng Sáu 1867 chị gia nhập dòng Cát Minh tại Pau, và ngày 27
Tháng Bảy, chị nhận được tu phục và lấy tên là Maria của Chúa Giêsu Chịu
Đóng Đinh. Năm 1870, chị đến Mangalore thành lập một tu viện. Hai năm sau đó,
chị lại phải trở về Pau do những hiểu lầm, cùng với các cuộc tấn công mạnh
mẽ của ma quỷ, khiến chị muốn được có thời gian đại thanh luyện.</font></p>

Toulouse, nước Pháp vào ngày 09 Tháng Ba năm 1811, là con gái thứ ba của Bá
tước Jean Baptiste Louis M. de Villeneuve và bà Jeanne d'Avessens Gabrielle
Rosalie. Chị được rửa tội hai ngày sau khi chào đời, tức là vào ngày 11
tháng Ba năm 1811. Chị lớn lên trong một môi trường đức tin sâu xa. Từ những
năm thơ ấu, Jeanne Emilie đã thấm nhuần một ý thức mạnh mẽ về bổn phận và
trách nhiệm, cũng như sự cởi mở với nhu cầu của người khác. Chị nhận được
giáo dục từ mẹ mình, và từ công việc của cha chị – là người quản lý một
trang trại, cũng như sự gần gũi của gia đình với vùng Hauterive de Castres,
nơi công nghiệp non trẻ đã bắt đầu gây ra đau khổ và khó khăn cho các gia
đình. Tất cả điều này đã góp phần giúp Jeanne mở lòng mình ra với sứ mệnh

tận hiến hoàn toàn cho Thiên Chúa và cho anh chị em mình. Lúc đầu, sứ vụ của

Nhiễm Nguyên Tội. Kế hoạch thành lập Hội dòng trong những vùng truyền giáo

<font face="Arial">Vào cuối tháng 8 năm 1854, bệnh dịch tả đang lan rộng
khắp nước Pháp đã xuất hiện lần đầu tiên tại Castres. Thánh Jeanne Emilie
chiến đấu với trận dịch này bằng loại vũ khí thường dùng của mình là cầu
nguyện và bác ái. Ngày 27 Tháng Chín, chị cảm thấy các triệu chứng đầu tiên
của căn bệnh mà sau đó đã cướp mất cuộc sống của chị vào ngày 02 tháng 10.
Chị là nạn nhân cuối cùng của trận dịch tả bùng phát tại Castres. Chị đã
được phong chân phước tại Castres ngày 05 Tháng Bảy 2009.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Tin Mừng Chúa Giêsu Kitô theo Thánh Marcô . Khi ấy, Chúa
Giêsu hiện ra với mười một môn đệ và phán: "Các con hãy đi khắp thế gian,
rao giảng Tin Mừng cho mọi tạo vật. Ai tin và chịu phép rửa, thì sẽ được cứu

<font face="Arial">“Sách Công vụ tông đồ đã giới thiệu cho chúng ta Giáo Hội
thời sơ khai trong thời điểm mà Giáo Hội đang tuyển chọn người được Thiên
Chúa kêu gọi để thế chỗ của Giu-đa trong hàng ngũ các Tông đồ. Điều này
không chỉ đơn thuần đề cập đến một công việc, nhưng là một thừa tác vụ. Và
thực sự là, Mát-thia, người bắt trúng thăm, đã nhận lãnh một sứ mạng như
thánh Phêrô minh định: “Vậy phải làm thế này [...] một trong những anh em đó
phải cùng với chúng tôi làm chứng rằng Người đã Phục Sinh.” (Cv 1, 21-22).

tảng cho niềm tin của mình vào Thiên Chúa Phục Sinh thông qua chứng từ của
các thánh tông đồ vốn đã đụng chạm đến chúng ta thông qua sứ mạng của Giáo
Hội. Noi gương các tông đồ, mỗi môn đệ của Đức Ki tô được kêu gọi để trở nên

điều này, người ta mới thấy cần phải ở lại trong Đức Kitô Phục Sinh và trong

<font face="Arial">“Tình yêu này chiếu tỏa nơi chứng từ của nữ tu Giovanna
Emilia de Villeneuve, người đã hiến dâng đời mình cho Thiên Chúa và những
người nghèo, cho những người yếu đau, tù nhân, và cho những ai bị bóc lột và
chị đã trở nên dấu chỉ cụ thể cho chính mình và cho mọi người về lòng tình
yêu giàu lòng thương xót của Thiên Chúa. Tương quan với Đức Giêsu Phục Sinh
là một “bầu khí” trong đó Kitô hữu sống và tìm thấy sức mạnh để duy trì lòng
tin vào Tin Mừng, ngay cả trong những nghịch cảnh và bị hiểu lầm. “Hãy ở lại
trong tình thương”: đây cũng là điều mà nữ tu Maria Cristina Brando cũng đã
thực thi. Chị đã thủ đắc trọn vẹn một tình yêu nồng cháy dành cho Thiên Chúa
khởi đi từ cầu nguyện, thông qua những cuộc gặp gỡ giữa con tim với con tim
cùng với Đức Giêsu Phục Sinh, hiện diện trong Thánh Thể, chị đã lãnh nhận uy

<font face="Arial">Một khía cạnh cần thiết của chứng tá để làm chứng cho Đức
Giêsu Phục sinh là sự hiệp nhất giữa chúng ta, những môn đệ của Ngài, như
biểu trưng của sự hiệp nhất giữa Thiên Chúa Cha và Đức Giêsu. Và vang vọng
trong Tin Mừng hôm nay lời cầu nguyện của Đức Giêsu đêm hôm trước ngày Chịu
Nạn: “Xin cho họ nên một như chúng ta” (Ga 17, 11). Từ tình yêu vĩnh cữu này
giữa Chúa Cha và Người Con, tuôn trào trong chúng ta thông qua Chúa Thánh
Thần (Rm 5,5), sứ mạng và sự thông hiệp huynh đệ của chúng ta có thể kín múc
sức mạnh từ đó; từ tình yêu này sẽ luôn luôn tuôn trào một cách mới mẻ niềm
vui bước theo Đức Ki tô trong lối nẻo của sự nghèo khó, sự trinh khiết và sự
vâng phục của Ngài; và cũng chính tình yêu này kêu gọi ta nuôi dưỡng những
lời nguyện chiêm niệm. Nữ tu Maria Baouardy đã trải nghiệm điều này với một
phương thức tuyệt diệu, đó là mặc dù hèn mọn và mù chữ, chị đã biết đưa ra
những lời khuyên và giải thích mang tính thần học trong sự mạch lạc tuyệt
đối, vốn là hoa trái của cuộc đối thoại liên lỉ với Thánh Thần. Sự ngoan
ngùy với Thần Khí đã làm cho chị trở nên khí cụ của sự gặp gỡ và sự thông
hiệp cùng với thế giới Hồi Giáo. Và ngay cả nữ tu Maria Alfonsina Danil
Ghattas cũng đã thấu hiểu thế nào là ý nghĩa của tình yêu Thiên Chúa được tỏ
lộ nơi các tông đồ, nhờ việc chị đã trở nên nhân chứng của sự ôn hòa và sự
hiệp nhất. Chị mang lại cho chúng ta mẫu gương rạng ngời về tầm quan trọng
của việc hợp nhất chính mình với những người khác, để sống sự phục vụ đối
