<font face="Arial">Trong loạt bài giáo lý của chúng ta về gia đình, hôm nay
chúng ta trực tiếp chạm đến vẻ đẹp của hôn nhân Kitô giáo. Hôn nhân Kitô
giáo không phải chỉ là một nghi thức cử hành trong nhà thờ, kèm theo hoa hòe,
trang sức, hình ảnh. Hôn nhân Kitô giáo là một Bí Tích diễn ra trong Giáo
Hội và là một Bí Tích cũng được Giáo Hội cử hành để bắt đầu cho một cộng
dồng gia đình mới. </font></p>

<font face="Arial">Đó là những gì Thánh Tông Đồ Phaolô đã lược tóm trong lời
diễn tả thời danh của ngài: "Đây là một mầu nhiệm cao cả mà tôi muốn nói
liên quan đến Chúa Kitô và Giáo Hội" (Ephêsô 5:32). Được tác động bởi Thánh
Linh, Thánh Phaolô khẳng định rằng tình yêu giữa các đôi phối ngẫu là hình
ảnh của tình yêu giữa Chúa Kitô và Giáo Hội - một phẩm vị không thể nào
tưởng tượng ra được! Tuy nhiên, thực tế thì nó đã được in ấn nơi dự án sáng
tạo của Thiên Chúa, và với ơn của Chúa Kitô, vô vàn cặp phối ngẫu, bất chấp
những hạn hữu của mình và tội lỗi của mình, họ đã hiện thực được phẩm vị này!</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Nói về đời sống mới trong Chúa Kitô, Thánh Phaolô nói
rằng tất cả mọi Kitô hữu đều được kêu gọi để yêu nhau như Chúa Kitô đã yêu
họ, tức là "tùy thuộc vào nhau" (Ephêsô 5:21), nghĩa là phục vụ lẫn nhau. Ở
đây ngài nêu lên một sánh ví giữa cặp vợ chồng và Chúa Kitô với Giáo Hội.
Hiển nhiên nó là một sánh ví không vẹn toàn, thế nhưng chúng ta cần phải rút
lấy ý nghĩa thiêng liêng của nó là những gì rất cao quí và cách mạng, đồng
thời lại đơn sơ trong tầm với của hết mọi con người nam nữ biết phó mình cho
ân sủng của Thiên Chúa. </font></p>

<font face="Arial">Thánh Phaolô nói người chồng cần phải yêu thương vợ của
mình "như thân thể của mình" (Êphêsô 5:28); chồng phải yêu thương vợ như
Chúa Kitô "đã yêu thương Giáo Hội và hiến mình cho Giáo Hội" (câu 25). Thế
nhưng những người chồng đang có mặt ở đây có hiểu điều này hay chăng? Có yêu
thương vợ của mình như Chúa Kitô đã yêu thương Giáo Hội chăng? Những điều
này không phải là chuyện đùa đâu nhé, mà là những điều nghiêm trọng đấy!
Hiệu quả của việc tận tuyệt dấn thân này đòi người nam, vì yêu thương và
phẩm giá của người nữ, noi gương bắt chước Chúa Kitô, cần phải tỏ ra mình là
một con người đặc biệt trong chính cộng đồng Kitô hữu. </font></p>

chất tái thiết lập tính hỗ tương nguyên thủy của việc hiến thân và tôn trọng,

<font face="Arial">Chính Giáo Hội hoàn toàn tham phần vào lịch sử của hết
mọi cuộc hôn nhân Kitô hữu, ở chỗ, Giáo Hội được xây dựng trên những thành
đạt của nó cũng như vào những khổ đau khi nó bị thất bại. Tuy nhiên, chúng
ta cần phải trân trọng hỏi mình rằng: là tín hữu và là mục tử, tự mình chúng
ta có hoàn toàn chấp nhận mối liên hệ bất khả phân ly này trong lịch sử của
Chúa Kitô và của Giáo Hội với lịch sử của hôn nhân và của gia đình nhân loại
hay chăng? Chúng ta có sẵn sàng chấp nhận trách nhiệm này một cách nghiêm
chỉnh hay chăng, tức là, hết mọi cuộc hôn nhân đều tiến theo đường lối yêu
thương của Chúa Kitô với Giáo Hội hay chăng? Thật là cao cả! </font></p>

<font face="Arial">Trong sự sâu xa của cái mầu nhiệm về tạo vật này, một mầu

tôi nói rằng: "Coi kìa những con người can trường!" - vì cần can đảm để yêu
thương nhau như Chúa Kitô yêu thương Giáo Hội. </font></p>

<font face="Arial">Việc cử hành Bí Tích này không thể bỏ qua việc đồng trách
nhiệm của đời sống gia đình liên quan tới đại sứ vụ yêu thương của Giáo Hội.
Thế nên, đời sống của Giáo Hội lúc nào cũng được phong phú nhờ vẻ đẹp của
mối liên minh vợ chồng ấy, cũng như Giáo Hội lúc nào cũng trở nên bần cùng
khi bị biến dạng. Để cống hiến cho tất cả mọi người tặng ân đức tin, đức mến
và đức cậy, Giáo Hội cũng cần đến lòng trung thành can trường của các đôi
phối ngẫu đối với ân sủng nơi Bí Tích của họ! Dân của Thiên Chúa cần đến
cuộc hành trình đức tin, đức mến và đức cậy hằng ngày của mình, với tất cả
niềm vui và nỗ lực để cuộc hành trình này bao gồm cả về hôn nhân và gia
đình. </font></p>

<font face="Arial">Tuyến đường này được muôn đời ghi dấu như thế, nó là một
tuyến đường của yêu thương, ở chỗ người ta yêu mến cách thức Thiên Chúa muôn
đời thương yêu. Chúa Kitô không ngừng chăm sóc Giáo Hội: Người luôn yêu Giáo
Hội, Người luôn canh giữ Giáo Hội, như chính bản thân Người. Chúa Kitô không
ngừng lấy đi khỏi dung nhan con người tất cả những dấu lem và nét nhăn. Việc
phóng xạ sức mạnh và sự dịu dàng này của Thiên Chúa là những gì cảm động và
đẹp đẽ, một thứ phóng xạ được truyền từ cặp phối ngẫu này đến cặp phối ngẫu
kia, từ gia đình này đến gia đình nọ. Thánh Phaolô đã đúng: đó thực sự là
"mầu nhiệm cao cả"! Con người nam nữ đủ can đảm để chứa đựng kho tàng này
trong "các bình sành" nhân tính của chúng ta - những con người nam nữ rất
can đảm này là một nguồn lực thiết yếu cho Giáo Hội cũng như cho toàn thế
giới! Xin Thiên Chúa ngàn lần chúc lành cho họ vì điều ấy!</font></td>
