<font face="Arial">WHĐ (05.05.2015) – “Được thánh hiến cho Chúa Kitô và Giáo
hội, các thầy đừng bao giờ để mất đi niềm vui và niềm phấn khởi của thời
khắc này. Nhớ đến ngày hôm nay, các thầy hãy luôn sẵn sàng vượt qua những
khó khăn sẽ gặp trong cuộc sống và sứ vụ; tạ ơn Chúa đã chọn các thầy, cho
các thầy tham dự vào sứ vụ của Người và sai vào trong thế giới”. Đó là lời
huấn dụ của Đức hồng y Fernando Filoni, Bộ trưởng Bộ Truyền giáo, với 14 tân
chức trong Thánh lễ phong chức phó tế do ngài chủ sự hôm thứ Bảy 02-05 vừa
qua tại Vương cung thánh đường Vatican. Các tân phó tế thuộc 9 quốc gia châu
Phi và châu Á, đang theo học tại Học viện Giáo hoàng Urbanô.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Dựa vào bài Phúc Âm Chúa nhật nói về dụ ngôn cây nho và
cành nho, trong phần giảng lễ, Đức hồng y giải thích rằng, trước hết “mọi ơn
gọi đều thuộc về Thiên Chúa và Người là nguồn mạch, là tác giả...” Một khía
cạnh khác cũng được Đức hồng y nhấn mạnh là “Chúa Giêsu là cây nho thật và
hoa trái sứ vụ của chúng ta chỉ tuỳ thuộc vào việc chúng ta có kết hiệp với
Người không”. Cuối cùng, mục đích của sự kết hiệp với Chúa Kitô là “để làm
vinh danh Thiên Chúa và đem lại hoa trái bác ái và thiện hảo. Cành nào không
sinh quả, thì không cần thiết, sẽ bị chặt đi và bị thiêu đốt”.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Đức hồng y Bộ trưởng nêu rõ căn tính và những tính chất
của công việc mà các phó tế được kêu gọi phục vụ trong Giáo hội: “Chúa Giêsu
là gương mẫu mà các phó tế phải noi theo ... Phó tế tái hiện Chúa Kitô bằng
hành động của mình”. Vì thế việc phục vụ của phó tế “là phục vụ Giáo hội,
như các Tông đồ đã làm và công việc ấy được trao cho “những người có danh
thơm tiếng tốt, đầy Thánh Thần và khôn ngoan”; hơn nữa, việc phục vụ ấy là
vì mọi người (propter homines), nghĩa là vì thiện ích của cộng đoàn và cách
riêng những ai cần đến nhất.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Cuối cùng, Đức hồng y thúc giục các tân phó tế lên đường
thi hành sứ vụ: “Các thầy thân mến, các thầy đến từ chín quốc gia thuộc châu
Phi và châu Á: Ghana, Hàn Quốc, Nigeria, Trung Quốc, Uganda, Tanzania,
Congo-Brazzaville, Benin và Cameroon. Ở những nơi này Giáo hội là trẻ trung,
nhưng đức tin vào Chúa Giêsu chưa được rao giảng cho nhiều người. Vì thế,
các thầy phải có một tâm hồn truyền giáo, như Đức Thánh Cha Phanxicô đã nói
trong Tông huấn Evangelii Gaudium: ngài muốn một Giáo hội có khả năng biến
đổi nhiệt tâm cho một giai đoạn mới của việc Phúc âm hoá đầy hăng say, vui
tươi, quảng đại, dũng cảm, yêu thương vô bờ và có sức thu hút.</font></p>
