<font face="Arial">Trong bài giảng thánh lễ sáng thứ Năm 28 tháng Năm tại
nhà nguyện Santa Marta, Đức Thánh Cha Phanxicô đã phân tích bài Tin Mừng kể
về câu chuyện người mù Bathimê đang ngồi ăn xin bên vệ đường khi Chúa Giêsu
đi qua, và đã kêu xin Chúa chữa lành nhưng nhiều người quát nạt bảo anh ta
im đi. Bài Tin Mừng dẫn Đức Thánh Cha đến những suy tư về ba loại Kitô hữu
khác nhau.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Trước hết là những Kitô hữu thờ ơ, những người chỉ quan
tâm đến mối quan hệ riêng của họ với Chúa Giêsu, một mối quan hệ “khép kín
và ích kỷ”. Đó là những người không nghe thấy tiếng kêu của những người
khác.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">“Nhóm người này, ngay cả ngày hôm nay, không nghe thấy
tiếng kêu của biết bao người đang cần đến Chúa Giêsu. Đây là một nhóm những
người dửng dưng: họ không nghe, họ nghĩ cuộc sống là dành riêng cho nhóm nhỏ
của họ; họ hài lòng; họ ngoảng tai làm ngơ trước tiếng ồn ào của rất nhiều
người đang cần đến ơn cứu rỗi, những người cần sự giúp đỡ của Chúa Giêsu,
những người cần Giáo Hội. Họ là những con người ích kỷ, họ sống cho bản thân
mình mà thôi. Họ không thể nghe thấy tiếng nói của Chúa Giêsu.”</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Tiếp đến là loại Kitô hữu làm câm nín những tiếng kêu cầu
Chúa Giêsu. Đức Thánh Cha nói tiếp “có những người nghe thấy tiếng kêu xin
giúp đỡ này, nhưng lại muốn làm tắt đi tiếng kêu ấy” như các môn đệ xua các
trẻ em đi nơi khác ‘để họ đừng làm phiền Thầy’. Họ hành xử như thể Ngài là
Thầy của họ - Ngài dành riêng cho họ, không phải cho tất cả mọi người. Những
người này xua đuổi khỏi Chúa Giêsu những người đang kêu gào, những người cần
đức tin, những người cần ơn cứu rỗi. Trong nhóm này người ta tìm thấy những
người kinh doanh, những người gần gũi với Ngài, những người ở trong đền thờ.
Họ có vẻ ‘ngoan đạo’, nhưng Chúa Giêsu đã đuổi họ đi vì họ đã kinh doanh
trong ngôi nhà của Thiên Chúa. Có những người ‘không muốn nghe thấy tiếng
kêu cứu, nhưng thích chăm sóc cho doanh nghiệp của họ, và sử dụng người của
Thiên Chúa, sử dụng cả Giáo Hội cho việc kinh doanh riêng của mình. Trong
nhóm này có những Kitô hữu không đưa ra chứng tá nào.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">“Họ là những Kitô hữu trên danh nghĩa, các Kitô hữu phòng
tiếp tân, các Kitô hữu chỉ ở ngoài mặt nhưng đời sống nội tâm của họ không
phải là Kitô, nhưng là thế gian. Những ai tự gọi mình là Kitô hữu nhưng sống
trần tục đang xua đi những người kêu xin Chúa Giêsu giúp đỡ. Và tiếp đó là
những người hà khắc, những người mà Chúa Giêsu đã quở trách vì đã đặt những
gánh quá nặng trên lưng người dân. Chúa Giêsu đã dành toàn bộ chương thứ hai
mươi ba của Thánh Matthêu để nói về họ: ‘những kẻ đạo đức giả’, Ngài nói
‘các ngươi bóc lột dân chúng’ Và thay vì đáp lại tiếng kêu của những người
kêu cầu ơn cứu rỗi, họ xua đuổi họ đi.”</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Cuối cùng là những Kitô hữu sống mạch lạc niềm tin Kitô
của mình. Đó là “những người giúp đỡ những ai muốn đến gần Chúa Giêsu”. Đức
Thánh Cha nói: “Có những nhóm Kitô hữu sống nhất quán với những gì họ tin
