7-5-2015, dành cho Ủy ban Liên HĐGM Âu Châu và Hội đồng các Giáo Hội Kitô Âu
Châu, đang nhóm khóa họp thường niên tại Roma từ ngày 6 đến 8-5-2015 này về
đề tài ”Tự do và các quyền tự do”.</font></p>

Châu đang phải đương đầu với những thách đố mới mẻ và quan trọng, và chỉ có
những câu trả lời hữu hiệu nếu chúng ta nói cùng một tiếng nói. Ví dụ tôi
nghĩ đến thách đố được đề ra do những đạo luật nhân dành nguyên tắc bao dung
được giải thích sai trái, rốt cuộc những luật lệ ấy cấm cản các công dân
không được tự do biểu lộ và thực hành một cách ôn hòa và hợp pháp các xác
tín tôn giáo của họ.</font></p>

chiến tranh, bách hại và lầm than, các Giáo Hội và cộng đồng Giáo Hội ở Âu
Châu có nghĩa vụ cộng tác với nhau để thăng tiến tìn liên đới và sự đón
tiếp. Các tín hữu Kitô tại Âu Châu được kêu gọi cầu nguyện và hoạt động tích
cực để mang lại đối thoại và an bình trong các cuộc xung đột hiện nay” (SD
