kỷ niệm 500 năm sinh nhật của Thánh Nữ Têrêsa Chúa Giêsu ở thành Avila, Tây
Ban Nha, mừng vào ngày 28 tháng 3 vừa qua.</font></p>

ngời như một vị hướng đạo chắc chắn và như mẫu gương đầy sức thu hút và sự

<font face="Arial">- Trước tiên, “thánh nữ Têrêsa nổi bật như bậc thầy về sự
cầu nguyện. Việc cầu nguyện này không bị đóng khung trong một không gian và
thời gian nào trong ngày, nhưng cũng bộc phát trong những cơ hội rất khác
nhau. Và Đức Thánh Cha xác quyết rằng: “Để canh tân đời sống thánh hiến ngày
nay, Thánh Têrêsa đã để lại cho chúng ta một kho tàng lớn, đầy những đề nghị
cụ thể, những con đường và phương pháp cầu nguyện, không làm cho chúng ta
khép kín vào mình hoặc chỉ dẫn đưa chúng ta tới một sự quân bình nội tâm,
nhưng làm cho chúng ta luôn tái khởi hành từ Chúa Giêsu. Những đề nghị ấy là
một trường đích thực để tăng trưởng trong lòng mến Chúa yêu người”.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">- Tiếp đến, Đức Thánh Cha nhận xét rằng “từ cuộc gặp gỡ
với Chúa Giêsu, Thánh Nữ Têrêsa trở thành một người thông truyền Tin Mừng
không biết mệt mỏi... Giống như thánh nữ đã làm thời ấy, ngày nay, Người
cũng mở cho chúng ta những chân trời mới, triệu tập chúng ta để thi hành một
công trình lớn, để nhìn thế giới với đôi mắt của Chúa Kitô, để tìm kiếm điều
mà Chúa tìm và yêu mến như Chúa mến yêu.”</font></p>

<font face="Arial">- Sau cùng, Đức Thánh Cha nhấn mạnh rằng “thánh nữ Têrêsa
biết rõ cả kinh nguyện cũng như sứ vụ không thể đứng vững nếu không có đời
sống cộng đoàn đích thực. Vì thế nền tảng thánh nữ đề ra cho các Đan viện
của Người là tình huynh đệ: “Ở đây tất cả phải yêu mến nhau, yêu thương nhau
tận tình và giúp đỡ lẫn nhau” (Cammino 4,7).</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Thánh Nữ Têrêsa rất quan tâm cảnh giác các nữ tu của
Người về nguy cơ “tự tham chiếu” mình trong đời sống huynh đệ. Người nhắn
nhủ các chị thực hành nhân đức khiêm nhường, tránh thói tật “ngồi lê đôi
mách”, ghen tương, phê bình chỉ trích, làm thương tổn trầm trọng quan hệ với
người khác. Tinh thần khiêm nhường theo thánh nữ Têrêsa là chấp nhận mình, ý
