trăm ngàn tín hữu đứng chật quảng trường thánh Phêrô, Đức Thánh Cha đã cử
hành thánh lễ Phục sinh. Tiếp theo đó là thông điệp Phục sinh Urbi et Orbi
gởi dân thành Rôma và toàn thế giới cùng nghi thức ban phép lành kèm theo ơn
toàn xá cho tất cả các tín hữu hiện diện tại quảng trường thánh Phêrô cũng
như những anh chị em tín hữu trên thế giới, theo dõi qua các đài phát thanh,
truyền hình và các phương tiện truyền thông mới trong đó có mạng lưới điện
toán toàn cầu miễn là họ tuân giữ các qui tắc và hội đủ các điều kiện luật
định, nghĩa là xưng tội, rước lễ, cầu nguyện theo ý Đức Thánh Cha và từ bỏ
mọi quyến luyến đối với tội lỗi.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Qua sự chết và sống lại của Ngài, Chúa Giêsu cho tất cả
mọi người thấy là con đường dẫn đến sự sống và hạnh phúc là sự khiêm nhường,
bao gồm cả những sỉ nhục. Đây là con đường dẫn đến vinh quang. Chỉ có những
ai tự hạ mình xuống mới có thể hướng đến “những sự trên cao”, hướng tới
Thiên Chúa (x Col 3: 1-4). Kẻ kiêu ngạo nhìn “từ trên cao xuống”; trong khi
người khiêm tốn nhìn “từ dưới lên”.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Vào buổi sáng Phục Sinh, khi được các phụ nữ cảnh báo,
Phêrô và Gioan đã chạy đến mộ. Họ thấy ngôi mộ mở toang ra và trống rỗng.
Sau đó, họ đến gần và “cúi xuống” để có thể bước vào. Để bước vào mầu nhiệm
này, chúng ta cần phải “cúi xuống”, phải tự hạ mình. Chỉ có những ai hạ mình
xuống mới hiểu được vinh quang của Chúa Giêsu và theo Ngài trên con đường
của Ngài.</font></p>

theo sự tự hào là nhiên liệu cho bạo lực và chiến tranh, nhưng có lòng can
đảm khiêm tốn của tha thứ và hòa bình. Chúng ta xin Chúa Giêsu, Đấng chiến
thắng trên sự chết, làm nhẹ đi những đau khổ của nhiều anh chị em chúng ta,
là những người bị bách hại vì danh Ngài, và những đau khổ của tất cả những

Iraq, xin cho tiếng gầm rú của vũ khí có thể chấm dứt và quan hệ hòa bình có
thể được phục hồi trong những nhóm khác nhau hình thành nên những quốc gia
thân yêu này. Cầu xin cho cộng đồng quốc tế đừng dửng dưng trước những thảm
trạng nhân đạo to lớn đang diễn ra nơi những đất nước này và trước những bi

giải và xây dựng một xã hội huynh đệ tôn trọng phẩm giá của con người. Với
Yemen, chúng ta cũng bày tỏ niềm hy vọng cho sự triển nở một mong muốn chung
