<font face="Arial">Bao lơn, ngai của ĐGH, bàn thờ và thềm đền thờ được trang
hoàng với 10.000 hoa Tulip mẩu đỏ, hồng, vàng và cam. Năm nay có thêm loại
Tulip đỏ Rococo và Pappagallo, cũng như Tulip kép, hoa hồng Matchpoint và
Foxtrot mầu kem. Bên cạnh đó có 7.000 cây Thủy tiên mầu trắng và vàng, đặc
biệt là loại Thủy tiên Westward. Ngoài ra còn có các vườn hoa nhỏ với các
hoa huệ dạ hương mầu hồng, trắng và xanh, cũng như huệ xạ nhỏ cùng 400 cây
thạch thảo, 200 cây hoa cúc, cùng hàng chục loại hoa khác, trong đó có hoa
lan trắng và hàng trăm bình hoa tiả. Thềm đền thờ được trang hoàng bằng
8.000 bình hoa thủy tiên. Trong khi bao lơn được trang hoàng với loại
Dendrobio nhiều mầu, trong đó có 600 hoa lan gốc Đông Nam Á. Xe vận tại chở
hoa đã khởi hành từ Hoà Lan ngày thứ ba Tuần Thánh và đã đến Vaticăng ngày
thứ năm Tuần Thánh. Các chuyên viên và nhân viên Vaticăng đã bắt đầu trang
hoàng bao lơn và thềm Đền Thờ Thánh Phêrô chiều thứ bẩy và sáng sớm Chúa
Nhật.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Truyền thống tặng hoa cho Đức Giáo Hoàng đã nảy sinh từ
năm 1985, khi chuyên viên trồng hoa là ông Nic van der Voort được mời sang
Roma để trang hoàng hoa nhân dịp lễ phong Chân phước cho cha Titus Brandsma
người Hoà Lan. Từ đó mấy anh em ông và các nhà trồng hoa Hoà Lan quyết định
tặng và trang hoàng hoa cho Đức Giáo Hoàng vào mỗi dịp lễ Phục Sinh.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Các bài sách Thánh đã được đọc bằng các thứ tiếng Tây Ban
Nha và Anh. Thánh vịnh được hát bằng tiếng Ý và Phúc Âm được hát bằng tiếng
Latinh và tiếng Hy lạp.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Lời nguyện giáo dân đã được đọc bằng các thứ tiếng A rập
cầu cho ĐTC và các chủ chăn trong Giáo Hội; tiếng Pháp cầu cho các nhà làm
luật và hàng lãnh đạo thế giới; tiếng Nga cầu cho các dân tộc bị thử thách
vì chiến tranh và chia rẽ; tiếng Đức cầu cho những người bị áp bức bởi hận
thù, tội lỗi và nghèo túng; tiếng Hoa cầu cho các tín hữu mới được rửa tội.
ĐTC đã cho một số tín hữu rước lễ, trong khi hàng chục linh mục phân phát
Mình Thánh Chúa cho tín hữu. Thánh lễ đã kết thúc với bài thánh ca Lạy Nữ
Vương Thiên Đàng hãy vui mừng Alleluia. Lúc sau 11 giờ trời tạnh mưa, và đã
có thêm hàng chục ngàn tín hữu tuôn đến quảng trường thánh Phêrô. Sau khi
thay lễ phục ĐTC đã đi xe díp ra chào tín hữu và du khách hành hương lúc này
đã lên tới hơn 70.000 tại quảng trường thánh Phêrô và quảng trường Pio XII.
Cảnh reo hò réo gọi ĐTC từ mọi phía lại tái diễn như trong các buổi tiếp
kiến chung và các dịp lễ lớn. Lần này xe díp của ĐTC đã ra ngoài ranh giới

mình”, hạ thấp mình xuống. Chỉ có ai tự hạ mình mới hiểu sự tôn vinh của
