hiện diện giữa lòng Giáo Hội trong nội thành Vatican, nhưng không xuất hiện
trong các lễ nghi phụng vụ nơi thánh đường và cả nơi trước công chúng. Lý do
là vì ngài nghỉ hưu lui vào đời sống ẩn dật trong tu viện „ Mater
ecclesiae“.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">1. Ngày 18.04.2005 mật nghị các Hồng Y, lúc đó có 115 vị
Hồng Y vào hội họp trong phòng kín nhà nguyện Sixtin ở Vatican để bầu vị
Giáo Hoàng mới thay thế đức cố giáo Hòang Gioan Phaolo II. đã băng hà trước
đó hơn hai tuần.</font></p>

Benedicto XVI. xuất hiện nơi „ban-công“ đền thờ Thánh Phero ra mắt chào mừng
giáo dân chúng đứng chờ đợi dưới sân đền thờ cùng toàn thế giới, sau lời
công bố „Habemus Papam“.</font></p>

Hồng Y Ratzinger, người Đức. Trong suốt triều đại gần 27 năm của Đức Giáo
Hoàng qúa cố Gioan Phaolo II. ngài là vị Bộ Trưởng bộ Tín lý đức tin của
Giáo Hội Công Giáo.</font></p>

ngoài. Tất cả được giữ kín bảo mật kín, đốt hết đi, không có biên bản ghi
chép lưu lại.</font></p>

những lần bỏ phiếu tiếp theo. Tôi cảm thấy bị choáng váng. Tôi tin rằng, tôi
đã làm xong nhiệm vụ được trao phó trong đời tôi. Và tôi hy vọng được phép
sống thanh thản bằng an đi nghỉ hưu. Tràn đầy lòng tin tưởng xác tín sâu xa,
tôi đã thưa cùng Chúa: Lạy Chúa, xin Chúa đừng bắt con nữa. Chúa còn có
những người trẻ, người tốt hơn con. Con tin rằng họ có đầy đủ năng lực đặc

tâm hồn mình toàn gánh nặng sự dữ có sức phá hủy. Ngài đã đốt cháy, đã biến

Mừng, cần có nghị lực cả thể xác lẫn tâm hồn. Nghị lực mà trong những tháng
gần đây bị suy giảm nơi tôi đến độ tôi phải nhìn nhận mình không có khả năng

đến thăm. Sau bữa ăn trưa đi ra ngoài vườn đi đạo ngắn, và buổi chiều ra
