<font face="Arial"> Số tín hữu Công Giáo trong Giáo Hội từ năm 2005 đến 2013
tăng 12% tức là từ 1 tỷ 115 triệu lên 1 tỷ 254 triệu, tức thêm có thêm 139
triệu tín hữu, và hiện nay chiếm 17,7% trên tổng số 7 tỷ 94 triệu người trên
thế giới. Sự tăng trưởng số tín hữu Công Giáo mạnh nhất là tại Phi châu,
tăng 34%, tức là tù 153 triệu hồi năm 2005 lên 206 triệu trong năm 2013. Dân
Công Giáo tại Mỹ châu tăng 10,5% và tại Á châu tăng 17,4% trong cùng thời
gian vừa nói. </font></p>

Phó tế, tu sĩ nam nữ và thừa sai giáo dân tính đến cuối năm 2013 là 4 triệu
762 ngàn 458 người, tức là tăng thêm gần 300 ngàn người so với năm 2005.
Trong số các nhân viên này có 5.173 giám mục (tăng thêm 40 vị so với năm
