Bethlehem và Viện Đại kết Tantur đã phối hợp tổ chức một buổi thuyết trình
tại Đại học Bethlehem với đề tài “Tầm nhìn đại kết của Đức giáo hoàng Phaolô
VI”. Bài thuyết trình do Tiến sĩ Alberto Guasco thuộc Viện Nghiên cứu Tôn
giáo Gioan XXIII ở Bologna và Đại học Link Campus ở Roma, trình bày. Buổi
thuyết trình nhằm ghi nhận việc tôn phong Chân phước cho Đức giáo hoàng
Phaolô VI và sáng kiến thành lập Viện Đại kết Tantur và Đại học Bethlehem
của vị Chân phước.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Bài thuyết trình dài 45 phút của tiến sĩ Guasco thật xuất
sắc. Là một sử gia, tiến sĩ Guasco đã trình bày diễn tiến tư tưởng đại kết
của Đức giáo hoàng Phaolô VI một cách có hệ thống với nhiều tài liệu dẫn
chứng; ông đã cho thấy một số nhân vật và kinh nghiệm đã ảnh hưởng và định
hình tư tưởng của Đức Phaolô VI trước và trong thời gian ngài làm giáo hoàng;
ông cũng giúp cử toạ thấy rõ Đức giáo hoàng Phaolô VI đã nhạy bén ra sao và
hiểu được các hành động mang tính biểu trưng cao và có chủ ý của ngài với
các nhà lãnh đạo Chính thống giáo và Anh giáo.</font></p>

giáo hoàng Phaolô VI trong việc thúc đẩy đối thoại và hoạt động đại kết

mà Đại học Bethlehem và Viện Đại kết Tantur đã thực hiện được nhiệm vụ
chuyên biệt của mình trong suốt hơn bốn mươi năm qua.</font></td>
